With a 2,006 foot summit, 22 trails, the Black Diamond Restaurant, Mountainside Ski and Sports Shop, Mountain Suites, and the Learning Center, Wachusett Mountain offers everything you need for a great day or NIGHT of skiing or snowboarding.

Take the T from Boston’s North Station to Fitchburg Station and we’ll shuttle you to the mountain! Weekends only, wachusett​.com for scheduling.

If you choose to stay for more than one day, don’t forget to stay at the close by Wachusett Village Inn, we’ll shuttle you there too.

History

Established in 1969.

Ralph Crowley was awarded lease from the state to operate Wachusett Mountain in 1969. Located within the Wachusett Mountain State Reservation, Wachusett Mountain Ski Area operates in cooperation with the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, providing skiing and snowboarding on 100 acres of terrain within a 450-​acre leased area. A major expansion was completed in 1982; including the construction of the current base lodge.
