History

Established in 2012.

BG’s Bicycles was founded by Brian Green (the owner) on June 23, 2012. The dream, anticipation, and passion of Brian Green (the owner), of helping others by using bicycles as a medium, has been in existence since he was 12 years old. Many unique ideas (that is in constant development), such as services, community supporting events, environmental, information technology, has been in the works for most of the owner’s life, and will continue to flourish with never ending passion. All with a focus on benefiting the community (ies), and ALL cyclists who have a similar passion as the owner, the love and the freedom of riding a bicycle. In the near future, MANY great things will come out of BG’s Bicycles.

Business Owner

Brian Green, the owner of BG’s Bicycles, has been a part of bicycles, and has been dreaming of owning a successful bicycle shop, since he was 12 years old. It was at that age when Brian began pursuing his goal by running a small bicycle repair shop in his local neighborhood in his garage in Lakewood, CA. He mainly catered to his friends and their immediate families. This small bicycle repair business continued until he was 15. He decided to close it down due to focusing on something much more important, high school. At 18, he acquired his first job at a bicycle shop in Artesia, CA. After high school graduation, he enrolled and then earned his AA degree in Business Administration. Then moved to Renton, WA, and lived there for 3.5 years while working at a tax software company. He then received his BS in Business Administration, and a minor in Information Technology. Then he moved to the Tri-​Cities. After almost 2 years, he realized what was missing; it was missing BG’s Bicycles.
