Awesome! The toppings are always great and fresh.

Love this place. It’s my favorite Froyo location and I keep going back. The selection of froyo and toppings is outstanding. The staff always greets you when you arrive and they are constantly cleaning, but also attentive to all customers’ needs. The only issue with this location is parking.

All the love is well deserved! Froyoworld has THE toppings bar by which I judge all other toppings bars. There’s a ton of variety and it’s always neat and clean. The cheesecake bites and brownie bites, which sometimes get a little stale at froyo places, are fresh and super rich. Also, there are plenty of «light» (in terms of weight, not calories…) toppings like Lucky Charms marshmallows, mochi, cereal, and whipped cream, so you can deck out your bowl without tipping the scales.
The frozen yogurt itself is pretty good, too. I like the cake batter (though it can get a little cloying after a while) and the mango. Also, they always have one or two dairy-​free flavors for people with dietary restrictions. If only they had real hot fudge (not chocolate sauce) I would probably live here!

not too bad. all froyo places tend to suffer from the same problem — which is that if they have great yogurt, they won’t have a great selection of toppings. and vice versa. this place is a toppings place. the mochi was particularly squishy and fresh-​feeling. the yogurt was okay. they have cute little macarons here too, and they’re pretty but not particularly delicious.
i liked sitting at the window counter and watching people go by. the worst part though, was that they don’t have a bathroom. that’s just not cool.

From healthy original with fruit to over the top chocolate-​cookie dough-​brownie bite-​every candy imaginable concoction, Froyoworld has something for everyone. The yogurt is always creamy, never gritty or ice-​y as some froyo chains are infamous for. All toppings are fresh and there are plenty to choose from. The staff have always been extremely helpful and pleasant. The only downfall is the parking situation, but then again… it’s Thayer Street.

Every calorie-​conscious girl’s dream. HEAVEN! great concept. Great food. Reasonable prices. Safe, easy to access location. I recommend, but don’t blame me if you develop a fro-​yo addiction…

Need a major sugar fix? Craving birthday cake froyo with gummy bears on top? Froyoworld has you covered. It’s a standard pay-​by-​weight froyo joint with both basic and more exotic flavours. It is by no means out-​of-​this-​world froyo; it tastes just like every other froyo place that operates on this model.
I must say that the location next to BBC makes for the ultimate junk food combination, though.

Truth be told, most of the sugar I eat comes from fresh fruit. So more often than not when I have the option I pick a sorbet. Also worth mentioning, I have never had frozen yogurt before this.
I appreciated that I was able to sample their frozen yogurt before picking one. I tried the watermelon and it was strange, it wasn’t sweet like ice cream and it wan’t tart like sherbert. I decided to go with chocolate, the actual name was much longer and included the word artisan. I was a little overwhelmed when it came to the toppings, mostly because there were a bunch of things that I was unfamiliar with. They offered Mochi and little bubbles of something pomegranate. Would have tried them but I had no clue if they were vegetarian or not.
I found the whole dessert to be ok. I’m not really sure why frozen yogurt has become such a big thing lately. The whole price by weight thing freaks me out to, because i’m convinced I’ll get to the register, find out my ice cream cost $ 10 and I’ll have to politely tell them to please put the Heath bar pieces back because I only have $ 8.50 in my wallet.
The space felt like it would be a great place to bring older children. There was a Disney movie playing and I think kids would get a kick out of designing their own treat. I myself will probably go to the Ben and Jerry’s that just moved across the street when I have a craving for chocolate.

I love this place. Froyo lunch is one of my favorite things, and froyoworld has the tart stuff and an excellent selection of toppings.
They have a special deal where if you bring your receipt back within I think 48 hours, you get a discount on your next cup.
I have to disagree with another reviewer – Pinkberry is NOT better than Froyoworld because Froyoworld has all the same stuff as pinkberry except you get to load it up with toppings yourself to get the perfect ratios of everything!

Decided on Froyo, never been here before
Tiny shop was busy; what a cute little store
Roughly 10 different flavors, self-​serve all around
Ambiance was cool but loud — aka freshman abound
So many toppings, from chocolate chips to corn flakes
I went buck-​wild, only to find out they charge by weight!
It’s pretty darn cheap, so my bingeing didn’t matter
Of all their flavors, I highly recommend the Cake Batter
I have no complaints, it’s cheap and quite tasty
I give them 5 stars, and blame me for the brain freeze!

As far as fro yo goes, Froyoworld is pretty middle of the road. If you have a craving, it will suffice, but you’re better off with Pinkberry in the mall (I haven’t tried enough fro yo places in Providence to offer alternatives, unfortunately).
I also hate the little Froyoworld mascot. I want to punch him in his annoying little smiley face. Sorry, that was uncalled for. But it’s true…

Some say that heaven is anything you wish it to be. I wish that heaven is a giant, bottomless cup of frozen yogurt and inexhaustible toppings.
Also, scantily clad women.
You read about these places, but you never really know, do you? I didn’t expect this setup, but after sampling it I was sold. It’s like a cafeteria for yogoholics: grab a cup, fill it with any of 6 – 8 different flavors of VERY TASTY yogurt then choose from several billion toppings, ranging from «health freek» to «wtf is that» to «please take me back to kindergarten».
The interior is a little stark/sanitized…and not all that comfortable, if I’m being honest. More to the point: For a place that caters to such sweet palates, it’s not all that well set up for the parent + kid drop-​in. Surely they don’t think this is just for the college crowd?
Now leave me alone, I’m eating.

Your typical frozen yogurt joint. I’m partial to this one because they have cinnamon toast crunch and rainbow cookies for toppings.

I’m more than a little saddened by the removal of the smaller cups. It’s pretty difficult to gauge how much you actually have in the trough which is the large cup and I also find that my froyo melts much faster in this enormous vessel. The ladies are still very friendly and they do have a good mix of flavors to choose from. Unfortunately as of late I find that my froyo melts long before my short walk home ends. So, not only do I end up spending more than I would have liked on froyo it ends up being a soupy mess of toppings and melted froyo before I can take time to enjoy it. I gave Juniper a try and they seem to have the consistency thing down right and are much more reasonably priced.

So you’ve got your pinkberry in the mall and countless other yogurt places scattered throughout the city. This is surprisingly the only one (maybe there’s one more?) on Thayer street and it’s right smack dab center in the middle of everything. You can’t miss it!
Have you been to frozen yogurt before? Basically you choose your flavor of yogurt that includes many of your favorite flavors. Sometimes they’re a little off the wall, but the best thing is that you’re not limited to just one or two or even three flavors! You pay by the weight and you don’t have to worry about what size cup you pick up. I usually walk away with just yogurt but some people cannot resist the assortment of fruit and other toppings that can supplement your treat.
Just this past week, they had watermelon and mango sorbet. It was EXCELLENT and I didn’t even need toppings to round things off (probably saved me a few calories!). Park on the side streets and just walk over (don’t be lazy!).

The best place to get your frozen yogurt fix! Delicious flavors (cake batter is my favorite!) eight flavors, with fun toppings, (both wet and dry) and a cute, bubbly kind of environment.
They are clean and well kept. Always making sure the place is sanitized and free of sticky spills and messes. Probably the best place for kids since just about everyday they have a disney movie playing on both of their T.V.s
Bring a group! Come one! Come all! Swap flavor combinations with your friends so you can try different combinations during your next visit. Or better yet, you can ask for a sample cup, and try little samples together to see what you love or don’t really care for. Either way, Froyo world is the best place to go for that oh so yummy cold treat!

I like to pride myself in being a Froyo expert– I’ve pretty much tried all the major froyo places in RI (and many in Boston too!), so when I tell you I don’t really get the hype about Froyoworld, I really really really don’t get the hype over Froyoworld. You pay by the ounce, which can get really expensive, and the flavors are typically blah or bland. If I’m going to pay by the ounce, the flavors better be out of this world with equally amazing toppings (Thank you Orange Leaf!) It’s also generally a very tiny froyo place, and there is never much seating. The one on Thayer is particularly not my favorite for that alone.
Overall, I would much rather go to Pinkberry or to Orange Leaf if I’m looking for excellent Froyo.

Froyoworld is a rather typical froyo place in a rather untypical place. It has the usual ever changing self serve froyo flavors and the multitude of toppings to dump on the froyo.
It also has some absurdly huge and ridiculously cute cups and bright lights and colors everywhere. Most froyo places are as about as subtle as a crowbar to the head but Froyoworld takes it to a different level.
The store itself is rather small but is located right on Thayer Street which is the middle of the Brown University Universe. The small froyo place literally shakes with the noise and commotion that goes on in here. If you want over stimulation this is the place to go.
The froyo is good and they do give you heaps of fresh stuff to dump on the froyo but be prepared to fight, in a very friendly way, to get to the froyo and toppings. Finding an actually place to sit inside is a rare thing indeed. This is a different type of froyo experience.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!
First off, I am a huge fan of fro yo. Especially fro yo that tastes like yogurt. I’m totally psyched when I can get a very tart fro yo with amazing, fresh toppings.
Yes, it is expensive, but it’s a fun treat that literally becomes an addiction. I need very little coercion to go here– if anything I have to be persuaded not to drive all the way over Thayer.

Froyoworld has my heart.
This place is a little bit ridiculous, a bit overpriced, and then give you such a giant container to put your froyo in that you always end up with more then you planned and it gets melty before you can scoop it into your gaping maw – but I have no beef with them.
My strategy for this place has been to line the exterior of my cup with an assortment of flavors – fruits on one side, chocolate and richer flavors on the other. Then I choose neutral toppings which I heap into the middle section of the cup. I realized recently, that this might be why I have a problem with my froyo is melting so quickly – be advised!
I also have sleuthed out the lightest toppings and OD’ed on them. Am I cheap, why yes I am, but when you have a deep and abiding love for froyo, you need to cut corners whenever possible. The juice-​filled bath beads (don’t know their real name) are good, but to be used sparingly.
What I love about froyoworld:
–It’s like walking into a discothèque filled with froyo
–There’s always a flavor I haven’t tried
–The undergrads who hang out there seem always jaded and slightly European (though it might just be the music that makes me think that)
–You get your froyo, and then if you wander away from Thayer Street, you can always find an idyllicly-​situated bench to sit on and contemplate how kick-​ass froyo is

The newest fro-​yo place in town, and in my opinion, the best!
I was super sad when Coldstone on Thayer Street closed, and even though I love the people at Juniper, my husband’s non yogurt taste buds were in mourning.
I’ve heard a few of my friends mention the new Fro-​yo world on Thayer street, and finally had a chance to go on mother’s day.
Walk up to the girls behind the counter and ask for a tasting cup. It is super small, but will allow you to fill, and refill to your hearts tasting delight.
Flavors were delightful — oreo, cake batter, chocolate, vanilla, strawberry kiwi sorbet, plain tart, and more. You feel like Charlie in the Chocolate factory as you pour the cold mixture into your bowl. Wanna be crazy? You can do multiple flavors! Go wild baby
Next, you get to add fruits, moochi, cheesecake bits… yes, I said CHEESECAKE BITS… and much more. The last station has small pieces like yogurt bits, shredded coconut, and my favorite, fruity pebbles.
At the end of your stroll of heaven, you approach the counter. Your fro-​yo is placed on a scale, and you are charged based upon weight. I think it was $ 0.49 per ounce.
Generally you will spend about 3 – 6 dollars, feel like you are 5 again, and squeal with delight as you add various toppings and syrups.
Note — you can only use a credit card if your charge is over $ 5.
And yes, my mom loved it, and said it was the best ending to a mothers day.
