History

Established in 1981.

Learning Connection, originally the Providence Learning Connection, was started in July 1981, to provide an opportunity for people in the community to learn easily and inexpensively from others with skills and knowledge to share. Today, Learning Connection is a statewide learning network that offers a wide variety of short courses, trips, seminars, and programs designed to give adults an opportunity to meet new people and learn new skills. In addition, Learning Connection has become a leader in the field of individual and corporate training.

Kathy Brady is the Executive Director of Learning Connection and has been involved with Learning Connection for over 20 years. Kathy is considered one of the premier class programmers in the country and is responsible for program trends used by others nationally. She is pioneer in catalog development and production.
