A perfect, quaint place to pick up some unique trinkets! They have the quirkiest and cutest items– from jewelry and accessories, to cards and random bits and bobs. It is a wonderful place to pick up a little gift for yourself or someone else.
The prices can be on the pricier side, but there is free gift wrapping and the staff are very sweet. I recommend you check it out next time you’re unsure of what to get someone for their birthday or celebration!

I came in just to look and ended up leaving with a big bag of things. Such a cute selection! Also, the staff are incredibly kind and helpful — they’re willing to go the extra mile. I was so happy with my visit here!

What a great little shop! My boyfriend and I went in to buy a couple birthday gifts for our friend — great selection, lots of cute quirky stuff, and the proprietor was lovely! He’s a nice older man with glasses, super funny, and when we told him we were buying gifts he wrapped them up for free! I would highly recommend coming here — they also have a really nice selection of funny cards! Definitely give Pie in the Sky your business, and talk to the guy who works there. He’s the best!

This place has the cutest accessories. They have a humongous selection, but it isn’t overwhelming bc everything is well organized and the shop isn’t so big that you’d get lost. Great merchandise, great service, great girly goodies!

I think when you shop for a gift for someone you’re supposed to think of what you want to get and then decide on a store where you can buy that item, but I’ve always preferred to do things the other way around. My standby store for this is Black Ink in Cambridge and Boston, so it was great to find a place in Providence to fill that role!
Pie in the Sky has lots of funky cards, socks, jewelry, and other gifts, at reasonable prices. I made it out of there with a multi-​component gift for under $ 20 – what more could I want?
I’m always surprised by how expensive cards are! Given that even the crappy Hallmark ones at CVS will run you about $ 4 these days, you might as well stop in here and get a quirky/​pretty/​unique card for the same price.
The owner (I think?) is super nice (without being pushy – huge relief in a small store like this!). She will wrap your gift up nicely for you (for free!), a huge benefit for student heathens like me without any manner of wrapping materials.
Can’t wait for an excuse to go back here!

Great for silver! I have found some really beautiful, unique and very reasonably priced (cheap even, for silver) rings here. True gem of a store; places like this are hard to find.

This is a super-​cute gift shop that I must have walked or driven by hundreds of times. I’m so glad I popped in – they sell everything from cool hippy jewelry to kitschy mugs to gently-​used designer handbags, and I never even knew it was here!
For Thayer Street, this is a great find. It isn’t at all overrun with cheap-​o crap or silly trinkets — I can actually see myself coming back here often to buy gifts for friends and family. What I liked most was the use of the bright, cozy space — there’s a lot of stuff, but it doesn’t feel crowded.
Definitely worth a stop if you’re strolling Thayer Street or on the hunt for a little gift!

Stopped into this store to do some Christmas shopping and had a very pleasant experience. They have a great selection of items in a small space — fun socks, hats/​gloves, notecards, journals, mugs, throw pillows, pretty jewelry with lots of different gemstones, handmade bags, a large array of greeting cards, etc. Everything seemed chosen with care. The prices were affordable.
We ended up getting a brooch for a grandmother, earmuffs for a sister-​in-​law, and food truck-​decorated paper for a friend — so we were able to find gifts for different generations/​types of people here, which was great. The proprietor was very nice, and they provide free gift wrapping.
I will definitely be back here soon. I think I will make it my go-​to place for cards and gifts. So glad I decided to stop in!

Such a cute store. They always stock unique interesting stuff. They have reasonable prices. I’ve bought fun literary key cain, great greeting cards, a beautiful pocket watch necklace and a million other things. Everyone who works there is super nice and helpful as well.

The jewelry here is boring… standard semi-​precious stone pendants and such. The stuff is reasonably prices for what it is. I’m very surprised at the high ratings and all the glowing reviews. Other then jewelry about all they have is a lot of stationary and cards. Maybe they have changed since the previous reviews — I saw very few other «cute knickknacks». There are other places in Providence where you can find a lot more interesting pieces and odds and ends that make good gifts.

Pie in the Sky is an adorable little shop on Thayer St across from the bus tunnel. This is the perfect place to shop for a gift! The owner is super nice and helpful and goes out of her way to make customers happy!

Everything is priced really well and the pieces are so unique, you will have a hard time finding them elsewhere.

I’ve been in this store countless times + love to see what they bring in. The store is ittty bittttty but you can find some unique items in there – everything from jewelry to magnets + many other odds + ends. Great place to find a gift!

I’ve been eyeing this beautiful anchor ring for some time but they didn’t have it in my size. The lovely owner, Ann, took my name, ring size + number + she is going to see if she could order it for me. Even if she can’t… the offer alone was fantasticle.

This little store is probably my most favorite on Thayer Street. It’s a hidden gem, a little hole in the wall store that if you aren’t paying attention, you may cruise right on by.
It’s chock full of extremely unique items; jewelry, hair accessories, handbags, cards, pins, soaps, etc. A wonderful spot for gift shopping and perhaps picking up a piece of fancy jewelry for yourself.
It’s an intriguing place. Every time I step foot in here, I’m mesmerized by what they have to offer and I can usually spend a good half hour in the store just perusing through the wonderful selection.

I find this shop to have an interesting variety of jewelry and gifts. I can always find a gift for that hard to find person when I go in. Over the years I have learned that the friendly and knowledgeable woman at the counter is actually the owner/​jewelry designer of some of the pieces. I have read some of the other reviews and I find it particularly annoying when people site the size of the store. It is the selection, the owners eye for what is appealing that creates the success of this shop. I have only good things to say and have had only great experiences with every item that I have purchased here. Worth a visit!

I loved this little store! The lady behind the counter who I am going to assume is the owner, was so friendly and laid back. When I asked her how to use this french twist hair-​thingy that was for sale on the counter, she went so far as to give me a demo, twisting it into my hair and everything. I thought that was very cool salesmanship (of course I bought it after).
Great card selection, neat gifts, and really affordable jewelery. I saw many cool pairs of earrings for only $ 10 and a rack of sunglasses for $ 5. There were also some more unique pieces for much more money, but there is quite a range in the cost of the items here, I think appealing to many types of customers and not just one. Great browsing music, reggae and such, I enjoyed. I will be back!

I’m not one to write reviews but I LOVE this store! I live in NYC and every time I come home I make sure to visit Pie in the Sky. The people who work there and the owner are so nice and the jewelry is very unique. They have great rings and necklaces. They’ll also fix rings for you if they’re broken for $ 10-​$ 20 depending on the ring, which is nice bc most places charge upwards of $ 50. All around great place :)

What a great store! My friend and I were drawn to it by the pretty lights in the window, but walking inside proved to be a very good decision. They carry such cute stuff. Jewelry, handbags, kitchen accessories, cards — a great place to buy gifts for people. Some of the handbags looked to be very Queen Bee-​inspired, and were indeed vegan but without the huge price tags that tend to accompany Queen Bee merchandise. Lots of the jewelry was created by local artists (some of whom were RISD students or grads) so it’s good to know they are supportive of the Providence art scene. I bought a couple gifts while I was there, and the salesperson, realizing the items were gifts, wrapped them all up pretty with bows and polka dots, and I didn’t even have to ask! I will definitely stop back into Pie in the Sky when I’m in Providence; it’s a great little place.
