Jim H, the technician, arrived at my family’s house while we where finishing breakfast. He came in and was so friendly and professional, that he blended right in.
He arrived minutes after I called, and fixed the faucet. He showed us what was wrong and promptly solved our leak problem.

I gave them 2 stars because they told me I needed new outside pipes to the street and the cost $ 5800.00, they did a great job cleaning the clog in the pipes charged me $ 670.00 which is more than I thought after reading about their flat rate deals. So I called another service and was old the pipes were ok and the problem was roots grew into the pipes and they cut them out.

My entire sewer line from the house to the street required replacement.
Am I being scammed? No worry, the tech snaked a camera through the entire line and showed me the damage. No guesswork and no doubts.
The job was quoted and completed within 1 day.
This type of work is always expensive so service is always the game changer.
The tech was knowledgeable, friendly and very professional. Everything was cleaned up after the job and few extra’s were done for me for good measure

Mario (7418, INV#18 001 425) placed in a water filter and emergency shut off valve for our well water system. He was curteous and took time to explain how things worked and how to change the filter in the future. The entire process took longer than expected and adjacent floor and boxes got wet — he couldn’t get the filter to stop leaking. He finally made the filter stop leaking but it actuality it leaked so slowly that it seamed like it stopped.
I went to check on the filter and saw a big wet puddle under the filter the following morning! I contacted roto-​rooter and they said they’d send someone out from 12−4pm. Two calls from them said they’d be by by 2pm then at 3pm. It is 3:15 and they said it will be another 1 to 1.5 hours before they can come!
All this trouble for over $ 900!

Timely service and quality repair. Eric (technician #7434) was here within an hour of when I called, did a quick analysis, precise estimate, and then got the job done. Cleaned up nice afterwards as well. Only downside is the price comes at a premium for the on-​demand service.

I contacted Roto Rooter in Providence RI about my water heater leaking all over the floors and was able to schedule an appointment for within the next few hours. When the plumber, Jim, showed up and told me I would need a new water heater and he would be able to do it that evening, he allowed me to go buy one while he drained out the old one. This saved me a significant amount of money! With a list of items he would need, I was able to pick everything up and get it back to the house while the old tank was still draining. The process was very smooth and the plumber was really kind, understanding and professional.

I had a good experience with this company. Scheduling was a breeze. I was told a plumber will be arriving within a 2hr window. Wilkins (#1147) was very professional and he was able to fix the clogged sink in less than an hour.

We had a major issue with a clog right outside the house, with lots of «stuff» back flowing into the house. Called these guys this AM and by noon time everything is cleaned out and back to flowing. They were fast, courteous, and very professional. Even explained everything that was wrong and why it was happening. I would definitely call them again should we have more plumbing issues.

we had a terrible back up in our system from the street all the way back to our house (but didn’t realize it at the time we called Roto) the timing couldn’t have been worse as my husband and I had plans to be gone for the evening and we had a babysitter with our kids… Travis (Chenault) arrived at the house while my babysitter was there and did a fabulous job dealing with a complicated issue. He was on the phone with my husband for any issue that needed to be discussed and got the job done. My babysitter said he was a very helpful, kind technician and was respectful of our home. He didn’t venture into any other part of the house without her consent and accompaniment. Travis told us he will need to have someone else come out to the house and send a camera down through the pipes to discover what was really causing such a high pressure back up. All in all we were very satisfied with the speed and success with which the issue was resolved!

I called Roto Rooter for a simple garbage disposal jam and got prompt service. However, they really robbed me of my good sense when they charged me $ 219 to vacuum out my garbage disposal which took 6 minutes. They did NOT adjust their price for doing the work in that short amount of time. The Roto Rooter in Providence, RI is a scam and possibly tarnishes their own reputation by allowing their representative to ask if I wanted to buy a gallon of «lubricant» for $ 55! Shameful! They treated me nicely but were insulting to ask if I put any sea shells down the disposal! I could tell they were disappointed they couldn’t sell me anything as my garbage disposal was relatively new and came with the condo that I purchased a year ago. Will never trust them with plumbing work again.

I moved into my current home about seven months ago and noticed soon after that there was a stain on the ceiling of my garage, roughly below the master bathroom. Long story short, I called Roto-​Rooter and ended up finding that my shower’s drain was loose and leaking. Ed came to my house twice, once to assess the situation and then again the next morning to make the repair. He was very timely in arriving, knowledgeable, and sociable. He corrected the problem, pointed out to me what happened, and explained how the fix worked. I appreciated being empowered to be able to fix the problem again, should it arise. I’m hoping not. The bottom line is that Roto-​Rooter was fairly-​priced, timely, friendly, and a month later now there is no sign of any returning issue. My only complaint is that calling them was frustrating; their receptionists seemed confused or distracted on the few occasions I called about my appointment scheduling.

Great service, called early monday morning and they were here within an hour. Tech#728, Wilson Molina came in to clear out the main sewer line. He explained everything as he went along and kept us informed of all of our options. Definitely A+ service. If ever needed again, i will call them.
