History

Established in 1937.

Standard Liquors is a family owned business started by our grandfather in 1937. It is one of the oldest continually running liquor stores in the state of Rhode Island. From its tiny original corner location on Eddy Street it has grown into one of the largest stores in Providence. Many family members have worked here over the years to ensure its success. Today the fourth generation is poised to contribute as well.

We feature an array of specially selected wines, liquors, and beer. We take pride in our great customer service; which has been an essential part of our longevity. Whether its taking out packages to your car or finding a wine or beer for that special occasion, we will go above and beyond your expectations.
