Boatslip Resort

Had a great time here, the staff was super friendly. Our room was kept well, clean and we had very quick room service to tidy up the room in between our outings. You can’t get more nautical of a feel with their décor and location. The Oceanfront view was amazing dawn to sunset. if you’re into that you don’t want to miss it.
We’ll be back! Hope Mackenzie is still there he was a sweetheart and great bar-​tending!

Two women verbally assaulted my friends because they accidentally bumped them while dancing on the packed dance floor and security refused to do anything and told us to just «take a deep breath and relax» piss poor handling of the situation!

Although its scene isn’t totally mine, I’m glad it’s here for those who are into dancing, drinking, and cruising.

Tea dance on Monday was very slow. The drinks are expensive and aren’t very good.

We loved the place! Location! Staff! Cleanliness and of course MacKenzie at the bar. Great over all value. Perfect Provincetown feel.

We stayed in September 2014 at the Boatslip with another couple and had a real blast. Very fun place to stay (the famous Tea Dance is a must) and the staff are very friendly. The breakfast provided in the lobby is a nice touch.
Not the place to stay if you are after a quiet time!

What a great place! We were one of the only straight couples here, but didn’t matter at all! Beautiful room with great views of the water. Fun bars on the property. Very friendly, helpful staff. Nice pool! Tea dances are super fun and great people watching! Great location in the middle of town. A good place for people who like to booze and have a good time!

Took an east coast trip out of the blue last summer, and kinda just drive around. We found this place and as soon as we got to our room, the drinks started pouring. This place is very party oriented and all about having a good time, so thats exactly what we intended on doing. And what fun we had!
Our room was on the second and top floor, we had a balcony and we definitely took advantage of it while the Tea Party was happening. Our view was the deck, and beyond that the ocean with all the sail boats sailing along, it was absolutely gorgeous.
Tea Party was from 3 – 7, and before that lots of people sunbathing, getting drinks from the deck bar, and good music playing. Once three came along… the party really started. three of us were up on the balcony dancing, drinking and partying from above, while the other one was down on the deck mingling. It was so busy, and so many people till exactly at 7PM. After that, the deck is cleared out of people, and it’s closed for the night. But the resort has an onsite bar, with a great bartender that was the sweetest and catered to our every whim.
But the town of Provincetown, is pretty magical. It’s a one lane road, with shops, restaurants, bars, and sun kissed people everywhere. The town, the resort, and the people are worth a visit over and over and over again.

TOTAL BLAST! Went here this weekend with 35+ women for a bachelorette party and had the time of our lives! Drinks were $ 7.00 and they were very strong. We got here around 4:30 and the place was jumping… we stayed into the night and danced our butts off! Definitely would come back here in a heartbeat! LOVED IT!!! I want to come back in the Summer for sure! It’s an amazing bar!

Where to begin? If you are in PTown, and you miss out on the Tea Dance at Boatslip, you have missed one of the most essential experiences of PTown — period. It doesn’t matter (according to me) who you are, how old you are (I feel like putting an age limit here — but then I can say — as long as you can dance!!), how young you are (as long as you are 21+) — if you love life and if you happen to be in PTown, you should come to the Tea Dance here at the Boatslip.
I have no idea how the term «Tea Dance» was coined and I am not going to google it and try to find the history behind it. I just know of all the Tea Dance’s that I have ever been to in the United States, so far in my life — this one is probably the Best one. The spirit of summer and the joy in the air is indescribable…
For my first time attending the Tea Dance at the Boatslip — I happened to be accidentally here before the official start time which was 4pm. So for starters, there is a cover charge of $ 10. What you get is access to an open deck with a pool and beautiful view of the Atlantic — overlooking boats and kayaks and yachts and the lighthouse near the beautiful tip of the peninsula that PTown is — the farthest end of the gorgeous cape. The music flows non stop with beats of the 70s, the 80s, all the way up to the current hits — but what is guaranteed is simple fun, happiness and joy in every beat that you hear.
The main long bar is at one end of the deck — farthest away from the pool. There are smaller islands of bars all over the deck, around the pool, to ensure the crowd of god knows how many 100 plus, can have access to whatever they want to drink. And drink they do…
The drinks are expensive, the drinks are small and depending on who the bartender is — they can be light or strong. For someone who is not a regular, I was lucky to get served by one of the bartenders who made Fantastic drinks. And rightly so, there was a line specifically on his side and later I found how certain other bartenders were not making better drinks. But that’s that. You should be able to figure out who to get your drinks from.
The dance floor is not super big but is big enough that it is crowded by the time it is 5pm. The DJ has a very secure room where access is limited for obvious reasons but there is a window you can go up to, and the DJ who was playing when I was there, was kind enough to play my requests within 10 minutes of me asking her. Now that DOES NOT happen very often in a popular place like that.
There is security all around the deck in the form of resort staff wearing the light blue «Boatslip Resort» sweatshirts or Ts. I didn’t stay long after 6pm so I cannot comment on the scene later in the night. Maybe someday. And I will be sure to come back and report here! In the meantime, if you do end up going, enjoy every moment of it! Cheers!

It’s not bad, the room is nice, the bar is cool and the pool looks great, just be aware that room 102 is right next to the club so you can feel the techno in the mattress and hear the people dancing.

Do you like a big deck? Because the deck here is pretty big. And it has a pool, along with a great view. There’s a small dance floor inside, but you’re in P-​town, so why wouldn’t you enjoy the sun and the salt air on the deck?
This is the place to go for «tea». There is usually a cover, although locals get a discount. Beer is reasonable, bartenders are friendly. Music is pretty good.
Coming here for drinks is fun. I don’t know about staying here but if you do, be prepared for a lively and noisy atmosphere from 4 – 7 every day.

This review is for Eric, a Boatslip employee. I was a participant in the TW Festival this week and stayed at the Boatslip. Eric was an amazing host and friendly face every morning. He was never without a smile and helpful information or great conversation. He is a doll and when I decided to upgrade my situation he helped me pick a beautiful room on the 2^nd floor overlooking the pool/​bay that was the ideal retreat for my time here. I can’t say enough good things about Eric. He deserves to be appreciated and applauded and seen for his excellent customer service. He is exemplary. I would go back to the Boatslip, for many reasons, but its Eric who sealed the deal for me. :) Many thanks…

My husband and I got talked into going to P-​Town on a last minute trip so I called the Boatslip rather than going online and was surprised to find they had 1 room available for 1 night in season. The room was clean comfortable and had a great view. After this experience this is my choice place to stay in P-​Town.

This post is in regards to the T-​Dance and not the resort as a whole. The T-​Dance is a great place where you can dance your ass off, have yummy drinks, and meet new and interesting people. DJ Mary Alice rocks and they have an amazing staff. Recommended for anyone who visits PTown!

Too many bachelorette parties. The women treat people like we’re in a zoo and expect all the guys to treat them special. Note: we don’t want you here.

This review is a combination of the Boatslip and Provincetown in general. Lets begin:
The rooms were cute! Looks like a newly remodeled bathroom. Even better is the ocean view. To die for. Amenities included a television, a small fridge, a key to get into the deck party, and a lot of fun. One downside for some would be that the rooms are not very sound proof. Could hear our neighbors walking constantly up above. You don’t spend much time in the rooms though because there is so much to do in town, everything walking distance: food, clubs, shops, you name it. Almost a shame because our stay for one night cost a little over $ 300 (each person after the initial two cost $ 25 a piece to stay). Could of easily just slept on the beach and saved a few hundred.
There is a party called tea time from 4−7pm on the deck of this hotel and it’s like spring break multiplied by three and full of gay men and women. Sadly it went too fast, and by seven the party is over, the deck cleared, and no ones allowed back to the deck or pool the remainder of the night. There are after parties, though, everything nearby. You probably want off the deck anyways unless you wanna listen to men cruise around below ya.
The staff (especially Eric) was very friendly and a good sport in dealing with my parties drunken antics.
And in all honesty I drank too much to really recall much. Ended up on the back of some French dudes bicycle and went exploring. But I do know I had a blast, loved the town and atmosphere, and wished I could of stayed longer.

The infamous tea dance from 4 – 7 always draw a fabulous crowd! What a great place to unwind and drink in the sun while overlooking the bay. Music is always fantastic — thank you DJ Mary Alice!
Todd, the bartender is always full of nice things to say and mixes cocktails to perfection!
Drinks are a little on the pricey side, but worth it for the experience.
I also enjoy going to the pool during the day before Tea Dance and baking in the sun!

Did someone say daytime dance party? I’m so there. We read about the Tea Dance and had to check it out of course. After a fabulous late lunch at the Patio, we wandered over to the Boatslip.
Loved that there was a large outdoor space and bar, and tables if your feet got too tired. Our new friends introduced us to a new cocktail, but I can’t remember what it was called. But I think it was raspberry vodka, sprite and two cherries. A little sweet for me but they loved them. The we made our way onto the dance floor and danced under the disco ball to Britney, Lady Gaga and Madonna. It was fierce. We’ll definitely be back to the Tea Dance next time we’re in P-​town, that’s for sure.

Well, I was pleasantly surprised!
I assumed from (well-​deserved) Tea-​Dance fame that the hotel experience at The Boatslip would be loud, dated and dirty — it was NONE of those three things. Pleasant staff, comfy large room with incredible view, balcony, a/​c, and perfect location. If you consider that you get into Tea for FREE, (as well as FREE Yoga on the patio on MWF mornings) you can take that off the hotel price and it is a steal! If you are in the mood for a fun time, stay here! If you are in the mood for a super-​classy hotel — stay elsewhere — the plumbing is old, and the rooms are not super-​trendy, but I will definitely stay again!
