Soooo… what to say. Not what I was expecting. In a basement; a pink basement with tejano music pumping. And your choice of vanilla cupcake with pink frosting in large or small. I was expecting more. The taste was good, moist cake and a sweet cream cheese frosting. But I like choices so I was left disappointed

They only make one thing, but they do it damn well! I always have to stop here to get my cupcake fix when I’m in town — and this time it was my birthday and I was serenaded by everyone in the bakery at the time. An adorable (and delicious) surprise!

Don’t miss this place when walking by! Scott makes cupcakes one way — yellow cake with pink creamy frosting. Truthfully, there’s no need for anymore choice, they are FANTASTIC! My daughter commented that it’s the first cupcake she’s had where the cake is as tasty as the frosting. Very moist and delicious. Don’t make my mistake and only get one either, I’ll be back for more!

the best cupcakes ever. Very high praise from this culinary graduate. Scott is charming and warm and I’m glad he has found the formula for success. If you are in the area go get a couple, you won’t be sorry.

Only has 1 flavor cupcake but BOY ITS GOOD. A must have when come to Provincetown. We also got a coffee accross the court yard which was delicious too.

Had a bad sweet tooth and I was in ice cream overload! We found ScottCakes and was like, THANK YOU!
Simple with one flavor, vanilla and pink icing. Not usually a fan of American Buttercream, but it was good! Bought 5 of the smaller ones and they were gone in about 5 minutes… ok 2 minutes.
Would defiantly return when I’m back in PTown later this year.

Most heavenly cupcake EVER.
You can forget all about the fancy-​schmancy dolled-​up cupcakes your stupid town has bragging rights for. They ain’t sheeeeeyit compared to Scottcakes’ modest 1-​flavor, 1-​frosting cupcake, which made me test my pre-​diabetic status twice this afternoon.
Check it out: you’ll see no jimmies, gummies, sparkles, or Himalayan sea salt shavings on Scottcakes. I’m not kidding! There is no chocolate in Scottcakes. No caramel drizzled on Scottcakes. Lots of dairy and gluten in Scottcakes, though, so if your stomach can’t handle ordinary baked goods, go fuck off to the shitty cornmeal cakes you’ve trained yourself to enjoy.
All you get at Scottcakes is a stripped down vanilla cake covered in a decadent pink buttercream – THAT’S IT! Scott decided: one flavor is all you’re getting. No options, no substitutions, and no flavorless vegan alternatives. You want strawberry? Too bad. You want a surprise frosting in the middle? No, you don’t. You have dietary restrictions? You’re crazy, and stop taking yourself out to eat already… ruining food everywhere. (round of applause)
Scott took away all of these excessive options and NAILED the very basic yellow cake cupcake that we all fell in love with in our younger years. It’s the original, it’s the classic, and from the first lick of the frosting, you’ll contemplate ordering a pink box full of these delicious treats.

This place (only) sells simple pink cupcakes with a fluffy vanilla cake and buttercream frosting. I wanted something small and sweet to eat after stuffing myself through p-​town and came across Scottcakes. I had the mini and it was so good, not too sugary but still satisfied my sweet tooth.
It was around $ 3.00 for a regular cupcake and $ 1.75 for the mini.
I heard it was only open during the summer but if you get the chance I completely recommend you go check this place out.

Very simple and delicious. I was told to try it, if it wasn’t for a recommendation I really wouldn’t have gone. I love variety and you won’t get that here. It’s basically a moist yellow cake with their iconic pink frosting.

First there was the day. Then came night… Then came Scott and his gay pink cupcakes and the world was right.
No matter what the recipe. Boxed, or original… They are a treat. Be warned, these are not you’re typical specialty cupcake. These are light and fluffy. Order two because after the first, you’ll want more.

Even though I was stuffed from other treats in Provincetown, I had to try a cupcake here. Luckily they had mini ones. Perfect size and tasted great!

Just go here, buy a cupcake, and ask yourself how you’ve lived your whole life without experiencing such deliciousness. Best cupcake I’ve ever had in my life, and I’m not just saying that. You can’t visit PTown without stopping here!

Two perfect mini cupcakes. Moist, delicious cake with a delicate dollop of sweet pink buttercream. You really can’t beat the perfection that comes out this simple bake shop.

I found this place and stumbled in just to take a look. When I walked in what I was not ready for was the sweet, rich, and all consuming aroma of awesome cupcake to hit me the way it did and I walked out with a whole box. While it is odd and kind of unusual to have only one flavor of cupcake, it is clear they have perfected it and made it worth your while.

Loved it! I had a mini and I will be going back for more! I think it’s nice they have concentrated on perfecting the one flavor they offer but I wouldn’t mind seeing a chocolate with butter cream frosting added to the menu.

Big or small, Scottcakes are both delicious. Topped with yummy pink frosting, the yellow cake cupcakes are moist and tasty. Not too moist, but just right. A highly recommended stop to

Cupcakes are good!

This is the perfect cupcake. Moist and delicious not too sweet cupcake topped with decadent pink butter cream icing. It’s heaven in each bite. And you’re sad when the last of it is gone. You want more but you know you need to savor the taste. For a while.
I usually like to bookend my vacation in Provincetown with the Scott’s pink cupcake but today I decided to do a midweek treat.
Why not?

They make one thing only, and it is great! This is how you know it’s good, when you walk into a tiny air conditioned bakery to find dozens of yellow mini cupcakes with a dollop of heavenly pink buttercream.
Minis are $ 1.75/each and I would suggest getting one or two to eat on the spot if you’re out here in the summertime, because if you plan on getting a box to go, go straight back to your car or else the buttercream will melt! Provincetown is by the water but it’s extremely hot mid-​August.
Support small, local business like this! The owner is so nice and happy to share his passion and story with you. Only one young lady working otherwise.
Also, wash down your yummy bites with a coffee next door, Or lunch at the «lunch box» they all share a small cull-​de-​sac space at the end of a brick walk.

One flavor of cupcake … is that IT! If you are going to do one thing, you better make sure that product is good. Congratulations ScottCakes, you have succeeded.
It is just a basic yellow cake and pink buttercream frosting and it is perfection. The cake, even the small version is moist and the frosting is not cloying but sweet creaminess.
The other bonus, they are open until midnight. We went here after a performance at the theater and we were with a friend who is in AA. While I would have loved to have gone to a bar, I really wanted to be supportive of my friend. This was a perfect place to go and hang out and have a cupcake.
