Loved the sushi! Some if the best we’ve had! However, we took our kids, ordered from the kids’ menu, which was over priced for the ridiculously small portions. Charged extra for noodles, which they didn’t tell us and asked as though it was a normal option to choose rice or noodles. Four sushi rolls were ordered as our dinner and were served and gone before the kids’ meals were even started to be cooked. We asked for them to go after 20 minutes of waiting after the sushi had been removed from the table. We paid more for two kids meals than we did for four sushi rolls. No one in the staff even cared that our kids didn’t get their food until an hour after we had ordered (since it took 15 minutes for us to drive home and 45 minutes to get the half-​ounce of chicken). Thought maybe this was a fluke, but after talking to others who kids there, we found that this was the norm for service when you take kids. Probably shouldn’t have a kids menu. Not worth $ 80 for our kids to watch us eat.

This place was absolutely amazing! I moved to Utah not too long ago and have been searching for a good sushi joint-​well, I’ve found it!
The manager (I think Joe was his name-​but I’m terrible with names) was very kind and insightful on the upcoming projects that they’re working on.
They recently switched locations and this new one seems like the right fit. The ambiance is surreal and makes you want to stay and relax.
We ordered 4 rolls. I based my orders off of recommendations and they each had their own unique flavor and were AMAZING. If I had to pick just 1-I’d say always order the chefs recommendation. Trust me, you will NOT be disappointed. Rolls were buy 1 get 1 free so the price was killer. Not sure how long they’ll be doing this for, so go in now and see for yourself!

Fantastic service and dinner! We got the OMG and provo rolls (they’re buy one get one free) as well as a side of noodles from the grill. They accidently brought rice, but were happy to switch it out and were super nice about it. The OMG sushi roll was awesome! We’ll be back for sure.

From food to décor, this place is hands down a must visit. Sushi chefs brought us out 9 rolls, and 3 veggie ones. Every single one was delicious, we murdered them so quick that we didn’t have a chance to ask exactly what was brought out. Sushi rolls are buy one get one free. Amazing deal for how large and fresh the rolls are. Choose the chef special and allow the chef to make your roll with the freshest ingredient that day, you won’t be disappointment. We also ordered seaweed and cucumber salad, flavors are just right.
There are 4 hibachi grilles in the center, and Japanese style tables along the side of the restaurant. Great for large parties.
For dessert, there are 3 flavors of ice cream, cheese cake or tempura ice cream. We ordered the tempura (fried) ice cream. It was shareable for two and pretty tasty.
Overall, this place is a must visit! Sushi is amazing here.

Oh My God, what a find!
Every roll was SOO DELICIOUS! It’s probably,… no scratch that … definitely! My favorite sushi restaurant I’ve ever been too. Highly recommended definitely give the Chefs choice option a try, they make a roll using their freshest ingredients and neither roll dissapointed. And too top it all off they offer buy one get one sushi bringing the average specialty roll to around $ 7!

Kyoto Sushi Provo has the WORST service. It’s degrading and insulting. We waited over an hour for our simple rolls, another 40 minutes to get our change and takeout back. I ordered soup, it never came, they tried to charge me for it, and didn’t bother to apologize when I pointed it out. And the waitress lied straight to our faces to cover up their mistake. Don’t take your friends there. Let Kyoto go and _​_​_​itself.

We always come here for the sushi. It’s the best sushi joint for the price in Utah county. Fish is pretty fresh and each roll has its own flavor. However, I do want to point out that I liked the rolls better when they were located by the dollar theatre. Maybe it’s the sushi chef but now they stuff it with more rice than necessary.
The service is pretty good. We asked to move tables because our table was getting hit with the cold air from the door and they helped us move tables.
The teppanyaki show is always fun to watch. I never expect much from a teppanyaki restaurant but the food is decent. It’s definitely a fun experience for special occasions.

This is the by far the best quality sushi in the Provo/​Orem area. We have tried just about every sushi joint and settled on this one. I have lived in Japan and Southern California almost my whole life, so I am picky about sushi and sashimi. Kyoto has extremely fresh fish and the sushi chefs really know how to properly make sushi unlike a lot of the other «all you can eat» sushi joints in Utah. On top of all that, the sushi rolls are buy one get one free! You can’t really beat that. If you are looking for a sushi restaurant in the area, this is a great choice.

WOW – that’s the only word that comes to mind. WOW! I’m not necessarily a sushi snob, but I have been to enough places to know what I consider quality, high-​class sushi and not – and Kyoto – the best of the best!
After moving down to UT County from Davis County we were desperate to find a great sushi place, but were disappointed by some of the other restaurants in town. In Davis County we were regulars at So Delicious in Roy (across from the Air Force Museum) and Mikado in Bountiful (exceptional Sushi and Calamari!) – so we had pretty discerning tastes.
After thinking we’d have to make the trip to Roy from Santaquin, we noticed Kyoto at it’s old location by Olive Garden and decided to give it a try (buy one get one free special was worth checking it out) – and boy were we glad we did! Not only was the staff friendly, attentive and knowledgeable, the Sushi was out of this world! SO GOOD! And the Vegetable/​Shrimp Tempura in the appetizer section – best tempura I’ve had! We are now life long regulars to Kyoto and will be back again and again. In fact, we now dream of Kyoto Sushi lol! If you go (and you should), see if you can request Diane or her sister – they will make your experience even better! We’re going to try the hibachi grill one of these times – those chef-​tertainers are pretty awesome. :)

The food was delicious! We got the steak, chicken and shrimp combo, as well as two sushi rolls… The Playboy and the Vegas. Five stars for the food. We did have to wait a little for the food to come out. The atmosphere is nice. We will definitely come back.

I sent them a message on Facebook asking if I could order a hibachi meal for takeout, or if you could only order sushi for takeout (they only post the sushi menu). Because I understand they can’t always reply right away, I called and asked and was told take out was sushi only. So I went ahead and ordered some sushi. As I was sitting in the parking lot waiting for my husband to pick up our order they finally replied on Facebook and said that yes, I can order hibachi meals to go… but conveniently they don’t have their menus posted anywhere. It was a little frustrating to get conflicting answers from different people. They obviously need to communicate with all their employees a little better.
That being said… the sushi was delicious! There is quite a bit of rice, but they don’t skimp on the yummy stuff in the middle like some other places do. Which makes for a nice big roll! We ordered the Futo Maki and Vegas rolls. The Vegas was definitely my favorite! The tempura was nice and crunchy, and wasn’t thin or falling off like others I’ve had. We’ll have to go back another time and try the hibachi grill.

The absolute best sushi around and not just for the price… That’s an added bonus! All their rolls are buy one get one free. The service is amazing, everyone is so nice. I’ve been here countless times and will continue to go back as long as they stick around, I find myself craving it all the time. Don’t hesitate to give this place a try, you will not regret it! Oh and I’ve tried pretty much every roll there and the Playboy and OMG are hands down my favorite. You really can’t go wrong though.

Great atmosphere! And they gave us free salads and soybeans for the delay, because it was crazy crowded. Our food was delicious! I love the chefs special roll with the lemons on top and the Vegas roll. All of it was very reasonably priced.

Buy one get one deal is great here! The customer service is excellent. I train 6 different rolls and the fuzzy wuzzy and house special were my favorite. I think this is the best sushi deal in Provo since I could buy 2 high quality rolls for $ 13.50

Excellence from entry to exit. This location is new… Very good sushi, attentive staff and the chef is using fresh ingredients. I hope they keep the standard high. My only wish is that I could bring them home to Louisiana with me!
