History

Established in 1995.

Captain’s Landing opened its first store in 1995 in Punta Gorda, Florida by brothers Trent and Troy Young shortly after graduating from the University of Mississippi. In 2005 Captain’s Landing grew to a second location in Venice, Florida and in 2008, the company started an online shopping website assisting men across the country to experience the convenience of shopping for the finest men’s resort wear from the comfort of their own homes.

Overpriced and extremely rude staff. I went in to look at a shirt. The older gentleman who was working there asked me if I was going to buy the shirt I was looking at. I told him I just walked in and this happened to be the first shirt I was looking at. The salesperson stated that I should either buy something or leave. The worst customer service experience I’ve ever encountered.
