Established in 2011.

Opened in October of 2011 by Hollie Dustin, Funkie Junkies occupies what used to be 10 offices and a lobby that are a part of the building where Hollie has her real estate office as well. Funkie Junkies was Hollie’s thrifty solution to unused space, and has quickly become dear to the hearts of Punta Gorda residents and visitors alike!

If there were thrift shops as good as this one near my home, I would be in deep trouble!
Prices are reasonable and therefore fit the thrift shop model. The variety of goods is wide and interesting. The displays are pleasant and inviting. Nice job!

I went to this store while on vacation last February. Man! how i wish this store to be here in California so i can go every week! :(
Room after room after room of cool goodies!!! at reasonable prices, something for everyone! from kitchen to books to bags, it has it all in one place. :)
You dont need to be looking for something in particular, you just need to look and find something you want!!! lol
I bougth a canister set of beautiful mushrooms! so unique! the lady at the register wrapped em nicely after i told her i need them to survive a fligth from fl to cali! friendly staff and awesome junkies! (they did survive bytheway!)
