Bella’s Italian Bistro serves authentic Northern Italian cuisine and wood-​grilled pizzas with old world charm. Bella’s executive chef and owner, Allen Granberg, has always been inspired by the old-​world Italian tradition of «earth to table» which is why Allen is passionate about using locally grown quality produce when preparing his dishes and also one of the main reasons why his menu changes with each season.

Over recent months Bella’s has been voted best new restaurant by Connecticut Magaine and has also received rave reviews from the Norwich Bulletin and Worcester Telegram & Gazette.

Bella’s strives to offer guests an enjoyable dining expererience and has become a place where friends meet friends.

History

Established in 2009.

Bella’s was originally opened in 2008 as Bella’s Market & Gelateria, offering customers fine meats, cheeses and market items in addition to homemade gelato. In April of 2009 Bella’s re-​opened as Bella’s Market & Bistro, offering guests a full menu serving authentic italian cuisine with BYOB. At the beginning of this year Bella’s Bistro began serving beer and wine. Our wine list has been created to compliment our menu. We offer our guests a selection of locally produced wines and also both Californian and Italian wines. April 14th Bella’s celebrates their one year anniversary with a five-​course wine dinner!
