When an elderly man of 82 says he doesn’t understand how to get a new card and you tell him you can help him with your iPad after the people buying powerball are finished that makes you a jackass!!! He has spent thousands of dollars here and has refused to shop at the near by Walmart even though it’s WAY cheaper!!! I’m glad you tested him this way NOW I can get him to shop at Walgreens where it’s cheaper because the customer service he always said he as getting didn’t exist!!!

Busy location but better than Haggen(the old Albertsons) when it comes to selection and prices.

I just want to be fair here. I work near this location and often feel it’s the fastest choice for shopping. I really like bananas but not enough to drive to Albertsons. I reneged on my statement of no longer shopping here and I’m glad I did. The employees seem to have checked it before they wrecked it. Even Jose is on point and I don’t mind chatting him up while he’s ringing me out. They get great little trials of gluten free stuff and seem less stressed now, so they answer any questions. The baked potato soup is yummo and they have a great selection of stuffed animals in the floral area. Whoever does their seasonal shopping is truly gifted. So this is the update from when it seems their shit was hitting the fan and speaking of fans, I’m proud to say that once again I can be counted among them.

I am giving this place a 5 star simply because of the staff member Michele. We choose her check out aisle every Thursday night. She is friendly and has offered amazing customer service from the start. She knows both mine and my husbands names and she always goes above and beyond. She remembers things about our lives. It makes coming into this store a great feeling. So if you want to feel like you matter when you’re doing something as simple as buying groceries… This is the place to be!

Its a great store to shop at. I choose this place over the one on Portland avenue which can get a little scary at times. They aren’t the best in produce but they have all of your shopping needs. The location is hard to access if your not familiar to the area but they have a fueling station that’ll always get you the best prices on fuel in the area. I hear the 176th store is better but that is further out and don’t frequent it.

Attached to the McLendon’s Hardware store, this Safeway can be a challenge Canyon Road traffic due to all the legal U-turns, and since they made the roads so you HAVE to make a u-turn to get to a different store I’m really surprised there is not more accidents around here! This store is ok, but not one of the better Safeways, I prefer going to the Safeway on 176th street corner of Canyon Road– cleaner more easy to navigate both inside and outside the store lol. The employees here though, are very courteous and helpful, so thats a big plus for this store– I wouldnt buy any bakery items from any Safeway though as they are all frozen bakery items.

I love Safeway. Really less its in a ghetto Safeways are always the best. Best produces and best meat outside of a private butcher. This one seems to have some good cooks making the deli food cause my general toas chicken was da bomb. Also has safeway gas station in which ur safeway card gets u a discount. CHYA!

I had the chinese meal at the safeway lunch counter yesterday, and contracted food poisoning from it. I vomited for several hours and was incapacitated for nearly twenty hours. If that wasn’t bad enough, they forgot to put a six-dollar bag of lunch meat in the bag. Safeway is awful. By the way, their gas will get you one to two miles per gallon less efficiency in your car. I thought Safeway was bad when the brits owned it.

This has recently become my nearest Safeway so I wil be visiting them often. I am happy to see this location has a gas station as well. So far this has been the typical Safeway experience, which is usually an «A-OK» one. You must utilize the Club Card to get the best savings you can. They are pretty cheap in many things, but I find myself going to other stores for more of the bulk experience on a few items. I will say that it is a very clean store. I’ve been impressed with the level of cleanliness that they have kept it. Bottom line: It’s Safeway, some like it, some don’t. I do.

I recently visited my physician and she shared that she had the drugs electronically sent to Safeway. I asked her why as I have never been to this particular location. She was going to change it when I remembered the terrible service I received from Rite-Aid. I told her to keep it there and I would try it. Boy am I glad! The pharmacy tech and pharmacist were extremely friendly, helpful and provided me information about my drugs. When I gave my name, she shared… oh…we just received it. We’ll have that ready in a few minutes. She politely asked for my insurance information and a few minutes later, it was ready. What a refreshing change from Rite-Aid! Although this location isn’t convenient from my home, it is convenient from my physician’s office. I will definitely consider going here in the future too!

Very Convenient location off of 512 and Canyon Road. This Safeway has a gas station that if you spend certain amount of dollars inside safeway, you get gas credit. This safeway is relatively clean and has many of your typical grocery items, as well as starbucks. One of the better safeways in the area.
