Boating on the Thames is a family owned and operated business B.O.T.T.S for short. We offer the Recreational and the Commercial Boater safe and convenient access to the Thames River and Long Island Sound whether you’re a local resident or a visitor to the New London area.

Bring your own boat or paddle, rent one from us. Kayaks all are ready to paddle. If you bring your own boat, we will put it in the water for you. Give us a call there is summer storage or valet service for the boater who lives far afield and/​or doesn’t want to keep pulling the boat around. We will have it in the water with just a phone call. We even fix trailers. There are Safe Harbor options and if you need a stop BOTTS location is just above the I-​95 bridge on the Thames River.

We invite the self paddlers as we call those who have their own kayak/​canoe/​rowing shell. We have a launch spot just for you. Here at B.O.T.T.S we welcome clubs. Just call ahead for parking arrangements and fee.

If you are a large family group, Club, or a business and would like a spot for a picnic or gathering give BOTTS a call. Kayak Beach is available. Great views of fireworks.
