At Pennsylvania Basketball Shooting Academy we take pride in improving and developing your jump shot with the right fundamentals and foundation. Repetition, Focus, Muscle Memory, Balance and Confidence are all key components that we implement to become a spot on shooter. This is a specialty skills camp that assist players to become better shooters with proven technique and accuracy. Specialize in 1 on 1 player development.

History

Established in 2011.

Over 300 players across the Southeastern Pa have attended our clinics. We have helped players improve techniques, confidence and shooting fundamentals who have played at all levels with major impacts. Our campers take pride in putting in the effort and repetitions understanding that it will transfer into their league games (schools, AAU, tournaments).

Meet the Business Owner

Jay J.

Business Owner

Jay is a local Graduate of North Penn High School in Lansdale, Pennsylvania where he became the All-​Time Boys Leading scorer in points playing for Mike Fergus in 2000. After receiving scholarship offers from Pittsburgh, Northeastern, Xavier, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech and Central Florida, he committed to the University of Pittsburgh in the Big East. After the departure of the assistant coach that recruited him, he backed out of the verbal commitment and attended UNC Greensboro. 4 years later Jay became the All-​Time leading scorer there also. Shortly after college he continued his basketball career in Spain, Hungary and the Middle East for 5 years. While returning home during the summers, he also worked directly with the Lansdale Boys & Girls Club as a counselor and Program assistant. During the 4 years playing at UNCG, Jay learned under the local LaSalle High School legend Fran McCaffery (currently head coach at University of Iowa), former coach of UNCG, Lehigh and Siena.
