Because of a recent Hurricane «whom shall remain nameless» (read here:
), and the resulting 32 hour blackout, I had to trek all the way to Queens to do my laundry.
Blessings in disguise actually. Why?
Well let’s see:
— This location is brand new. I’m not sure the exact date they opened, but it’s recently for sure.
— They have flat screen TVs to watch on.
— This location is MASSIVE. I mean like they have rows and rows of machines (see the pics I uploaded).
— FREE Drying. That’s FREE Drying! When it comes to laundry, I’ll take anything free (wait…that didn’t come out right :-P).
— They’re brand new indeed, with shiny new washing & drying machines.
— They offer drop-​off laundry service, as well as dry cleaning.
— They utilize the modern «card-​system» for doing your laundry, so no more quarters! Lol.
— They’re open 24 hours (I think they work in shifts).
Overall, if this wasn’t so far I’d be a regular here because they’re really great. But, alas… I won’t cheat on my local fav place to do the chores. :-P
