I used to eat here a lot because I like the food and this one cashier I would order from she was my favorite and she always made sure my order was correct. But recently I went their and I found out she had quit so I was a little hesitant to order but I did anyways because I like the food and the cashier gave me such an attitude and screwed up my order! I really don’t like the new people working their. The girl that would take care of me all the time was Danielle I remember her name. She was the best person working their. I don’t think I’ll ever come back for a long while. I wish everyone that work their could have some manners and treat the costumer better. It take two seconds to take my order if you don’t like your job then quit!

Me and my children used to like this place a lot, the menu has changed so did the prices. They practically jacked it up 30% or more and done nothing to the place. Portions are smaller with no side order or extra for any side order. My son ordered a Double Decker steak, no side order for a non fancy place nearly $ 16.00 with side order of French Fries extra $ 3.00. He did not even find what was his favorite in the menu anymore neither did I. The store does not realize that there are many other places to eat around that area for the same or less price. So by making it more expensive you just loose more customers. I can pay that in NYC kosher restaurant and have a better service and atmosphere.

If I could I would give this place 0 stars. I’ve been coming here for over 5 years and it has never been as horrible as it is now. The place is run by young teenagers– with major attitude issues. These people make it seem like taking my order is the most annoying part of their day, which is apparently the way they take everybodys order. The young girl needs to learn how to speak to customers and maybe cut her nails. After repeating my order 3 times, and specifying that I would like it in a to go container I was given my salad in a plate. When I told the employee that I actually wanted it to go she had it flipped into a container and handed it to me. leaking with bbq sauce. I’ve never seen such a disorganized and unprofessional place, disgrace to the kosher food business.

Honestly worst place ever! Service is horrible. The employees are the rudest people there. The«manager» there named Adele should be fired her attitude is absurd. No one speaks to customers the way she spoke to us. She sat there on the corner and payed no attention to the customers. I would never go back. Very disappointed I expected better from that place I’ve been going there for years and never again am I stepping a foot in there.

Worst service ever ! They used to be the go to spot but the new employees have the biggest attitude and constantly roll their eyes. Especially«the manager» Adele who sits in a corner doing absolutely nothing and yells at the customers across the room. Worst place ever and deff never coming back

For the price your paying, the quality is less than compared with other such places like Qdoba. For example my beef burrito was drowning in grease which is understandable but not when I’m trying to pick up my burrito and the outside of the tortilla is covered in a layer of oil that dripped from the inside, telling you that the server picked up a ladle full of meat and juices and plopped it into your burrito or taco. This greasy mess explains the poor conditions of the tables in the place, which were not clean or barely any. The BBQ chicken salad comes with«avocado ranch dressing» which tastes nothing of avocado. I’d rather you just give me avocado in my salad. Mostly there were kids around and students doing homework. The things that I liked were that the take home trays they have are freely available. Also they use a buzzer to let know your food is ready, though it was hardly necessary as the place was not even halfway full. It was at 5pm on a weekday. Service was also focused on the many deliveries they had to fill and a young cashier or two trying to keep up with a more experienced manager.

As far as kosher take-out for a young family goes, this is pretty much as good as it gets. The mix of American and Mexican dishes has something to please everyone. The prices are decent. My kids love most of the food, and would get every day if they could. Myself and my wife understand that this is fast food and try to stay on the healthier side, which is tough here. Also, Sunday dinner time is usually very busy, and this is where you are likely to wait for your order and deal with mistakes in the order.

Good food, bad service. The staff is unprofessional and frankly, quite rude. The food is very tasty though so in all, it’s a mixed experience.

Kosher friendly alert!!! Yayyyyyyyyy! This is a self serving place where you get a buzzer after you order. I kinda like this style as no one would interrupt me while I am eating. The food was amazing! The smoked pastrami wings($ 8.95) were extra crispy and tasty. I have never tried pastrami seasoning before and I like it. The Cowboy rib eye steak($ 19.95) was massive. I ordered two tacos: asada steak($ 3.99) and amigo($ 3.79), and I love the taco shells. Overall, I love this place. The service was fast, place was very clean, spacious, and the price is fairly reasonable.

Used to be really good before they changed to new ownership. For sure the best kosher Mexican food I’ve had. The place isn’t very cheap but that’s normal in kosher food establishments. They offer many different appetizers, soups, burritos and tacos to choose from. My favorite is the ground beef, and chicken burrito which both go great with the avocado ranch or barbecue sauces. In my opinion they used to be a lot better with the food and larger portion sizes. I would still go here because there are no alternatives for kosher mexican food.

Ordered a Bourbon Street Skirt Steak Sub over the phone, was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. Showed up 20 minutes later to pick up the sandwich and when I got home the sandwich was cold, meaning it had been sitting out for a while and was not fresh. I called the restaurant to make them aware of the situation, and was put on hold for 20 minutes. I hung up and called back, and the phone was answered right away, meaning they had forgotten about me the first time I called. I spoke with the manager who told me I should not expect take out food to be hot or fresh(absurd since I pay to receive fresh, hot food), and that he doesn’t know who I spoke to, but they never tell phone customers an approximate wait time because they are very busy(also absurd because the customer needs to know when they should come pick up their food). After the manager refused to offer any sort of compensation for my sandwich issue, I told him about being on hold for so long, to which he responded«nobody waits that long on hold in my restaurant, I know that for a fact». Essentially he repeatedly called me a liar without using those words. Therefore, I have included a photo of the call duration for everyone to see. Overall, the food tasted good, although definitely not fresh, and the manager was rude, disrespectful and unaccommodating.

Smoked BBQ brisket tacos — a revelation. Render, smoky and flavorful, this meat made my tacos quite remarkable. Served with cole slaw and pickles on top, it creates a hybrid Mexican/delicatessen delicacy that’s definitely going to bring my back for more. My husband had the taco supremes which can were done up like Taco Bell double decker deals with the multi tortillas. He loves them — a Taco Bell package with high quality brisket inside is a sweet deal. Two things took away a star. First, the smaller issue — the guac was bland. Second, the larger issue — the server was clueless when I asked about food allergies and ingredient lists and that made me glad that I had brought snacks along for my food allergic toddler since I wasn’t comfortable ordering him a meal that I would be convinced was safe.

When you need the kosher and you don’t want the usual like bagels, sushi and the other meat places hit up Carlos and Gabbys they have two locations and it seems this one might be the better one menu has burritos fajitas and other assorted tasty sounding foods I am a vegetarian and this is a meat place I opted for the guacamole boy oh boy was it good and it came with warm fresh pita chips served on a wooden tray I also had their squash soup it was fine served in a plastic take out container not so fancy but it tasted fine our spinach dip was also in a take out container with warm fresh and dusted with spices pita chips also served on a wood tray these offerings are easily shareable because the portions are very generous my kid had some big fat filled with rice and meat burrito she was very happy you order your food prices are not cheap but this is kosher and its decent so ok décor is far from fancy heavy wood chairs and shabby looking booths pick your table and wait for them to scream your name and pick up your order since it seems each item comes out by itself if you order 3 things you get screamed for 3 times my daughter said it appeared the guy screaming was enjoying his job I need a different name… one that sounds more exciting when its screamed I don’t want to discourage any koshers from going here because good kosher is hard to find but I hope someone that works there reminds the people that clean don’t leave the spray bottle of blue stuff on the condiment /garbage counter
