Newly opened in my own hood, Compare Supermarket does not have the same ambience or selection as Stop & Shop. Customer service is certainly a step above than nearby Met Foods as they seem willing to help and are non-discriminating while I pass by aisles without the standard anti-Chinese racist comment: «need how ma?» The aisles at this newly opened Compare Supermarket are spacious for patrons to freely roam and browse without having to tightly sqeeze by other patrons or staff. The floor surely needs a comestic renovation. The receipt is itemized in full detail and accounted for item and quantity purchased, given with today’s technology of spell check in various program, Liberty Avenue is spelt incorrectly of «LEBERTY.» Despite being new to the hood, Compare Supermarket’s inner appearance depicts its age with shabby shelving and fixtures dated to the 1960s era, thus three stars.
