Gotham is as good as it gets when it comes to quality repair and service. They took my Lexus that had been swiped very badly whiled parked and restored it to factory conditions in a matter of two weeks. The paint matched up perfectly and the lines on the body are pristine.
I just wanted to send a special shout out Jim. Jim’s customer service skills are to commended. Jim took his time to address all of my concerns, completely. Gotham did text me as well as call me on regular intervals to inform me of the progress.
They are Lexus certified, so I feel confident they did and would continue to do excellent work.
I am completely satisfied with the work and service I received here at Gotham and would definitely recommend them to ppl I know.

Great first experience here. My Infiniti G37 coupe had a bit of fender damage due to some drunk douche hit and run. I wanted to bring it to a shop that would take professional care of it. These guys are awesome at what they do and gotta love the 5 star customer service.
A huge shout out to Jim. I took my car there and showed him the damage. He was very nice and honest with what needs to be replaced. This place has such a good customer service. All the rest of the staff are so friendly and down to earth people.

First. Unilocal.Review. Ever. Today, after speaking with the delightful Laurie briefly on the phone, I brought my brand new SUV to Gotham with a fresh scratch in the hood and rear panel. Nothing earth-​shattering, but a total bummer nonetheless. Frank and his team were incredibly kind and understanding when showing me what needed to be done to fix the egregious blemishes. They saw me as soon as I pulled up to the shop, got to work within minutes and meticulously worked on the scratches until they were virtually invisible. I am so happy I made the choice to take my car to Gotham. They clearly know what they are doing and how to treat their customers. Stuff happens to cars in NYC, it’s a fact of life. And when stuff happens to my car, I will, without a shadow of a doubt, take it to Frank and his team. Thank you GCC!

I’m a bit late writing this review, but they really deserve credit for a job well done. My 2016 Honda Civic was barely 3 weeks old when someone side swiped it on the street (of course they left no note). Anyway, I was super distraught and took it to Gotham City and honestly I was terrified that they would do a shotty job, but Praise God my car looked like new again. It’s a bit pricey, but well worth it and the customer service is great!

Great first experience. They did a great job and in less than 2 days. And they even cleaned my car, inside and out !!

My older Mercedes was damaged on the trunk by a neighbor. They were willing to pay and were honest about it. I shopped and got estimates. And I have to say they were stellar. The job they did was excellent and they went above and beyond. Could not be more pleased or recommend them more. Jim was awesome to deal with and made sure it was done right. She looks better now than ever before.

If you live in the area or not you must bring your car to Frank. The sweetest and most honest shop around! I shopped around and got the run around being a woman at so many shops trying to get my car fixed from a hit and run. When I went here Frank was so warm and welcoming. He explained what needed to be done and didnt give me the run around. I def recd this shop to anyone and def will use again. Thank you guys!

This place was great, they do excellent work on BMWs and imports. Got into an accident and my car was borderline totaled, wasn’t sure whether I’d get it fixed since it was going to be expensive. Really glad I did, these dudes are really knowledgeable and went out of their way. I got a lot of honest information and breakdowns of what the expensive parts were and what needed to be done to the car before I agreed to anything, they even told me unless I was really attached to the car I probably shouldn’t do the work because it would be too expensive. First time I’ve ever had someone kind of try to talk me out of spending 6k+
Turns out I couldn’t let go of my e46 3series, felt like it was a part of me, stupid I know. Out of blind luck I came here because it was close to me and had good reviews. One of the biggest expenses was an adaptive headlight which would have been super costly but they spent time looking for a used one, finding deals where they could without sacrificing quality. They basically did everything they could to get me the car back without incurring some of the ridiculous costs associated with working on a german import. A lot of BMW buffs work here, which I didn’t even know until after I got the car back post repairs, lucky me I guess. It’s obvious they like what they do, building huge motors and making cars look good and go fast.
Honestly trying to find something negative to say just so I don’t look like a shill but I don’t have anything. Estimate and end cost were very close, I got the car back when they said I would. I had to spend a lot of money but the car was kind of a disaster when I brought it in tbh.

I had a great experience with Gotham City Collision. I came here because of the positive Unilocal reviews and the service and work didn’t disappoint. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. We arranged a time for me to have the car inspected and everything was seamless. I received a full run-​down on what was required to fix multiple dents and scratches. I left the SUV for a week and came to a very clean, completely «like new» SUV.
I thought they were very fair and honest. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Gotham City Collison for any autobody work.

Gotham City Collision is the best. I got into a fender bender and broke the rear view mirror off the side of my car. I was freaking out because I couldn’t drive the car like this, and my wife is 39 weeks pregnant. She could go into labor ANY DAY NOW and we’re going to need the car when that happens. I found Gotham City Collision on Unilocal and explained my situation. I gave them my vin number and they were able to get the mirror from Honda and assemble it to my car THE VERY NEXT DAY. And when I went in for the repair, I ONLY HAD TO WAIT FOR 5 MINUTES (this is probably less than average wait time… but still). I can’t thank them enough for going above and beyond. They really helped me out when I needed it most.

As a proud member of the Subaru Nation, the Professor was stunned to see his beloved, parked (!) Sport Wagon’s front passenger fender besmirched by no doubt, some jackwad in a 2WD trying to negotiate a bit of snow. I called my trusty body shop in Woodside, but was dismayed to find it shuttered. Who to trust with the Subaru now?
Off to Unilocal it was. Gotham City (GCC) had an incredible amount of 5-​star reviews, and after using some trusty algorithms, the Professor deemed them to be honest and not written by paid lackeys and sycophants.
From my first contact with GCC, I felt that I was in excellent hands. I brought the car over and met with Laurie (Lori?) who took all my info and introduced me to Juan the Wizard. Juan was just washing up (the Professor likes good hygiene) and met with me within 45 seconds (the Professor also likes punctuality).
Juan examined the jackwad’s resultant damage and explained in great detail how he would approach repairing it, as there were a few scenarios. As I was paying out-​of-​pocket, we were able to negotiate what the professor felt to be a very fair price.
I was asked to leave the Sube there and was told it would be ready in 3 to 4 days. Outstanding! The Professor happened to be waylaid on the designated pickup day, and Juan was kind enough to store the car over the weekend (after cracking a joke about that trope of storage fees made so popular by less-​than-​reputable shops). As you might imagine, the Professor likes humor).
At pickup, the car was dazzling. Not only was the jackwad’s damage undiscernible, Juan and his team went the extra mile to detail the Sport Wagon inside and out!
This is work and customer service that deserves every 5-​star review it has received.
I’ve already told one of my associates about my fantastic experience here and he will be bringing in his vehicle for an estimate as well.
Now I’m telling you.
You will not be disappointed.

My fiancé had an accident two weeks ago and we needed to get her car fixed fast and right as her lease was coming to an end. I’ve dealt with both Frank and Juan before and I knew Gotham city collision was the only place I trusted to do the job right. Less than two weeks later our car was returned to us better than new. I can’t say more about what a great establishment this shop is in a line of business that can be more than scary if you don’t know where to go. If you’re looking for quality work with attention to detail Gotham city should be your choice!

This is the nicest place I found to bring my car. I had a hit and run which had about 2200 of damages to my car. Didn’t know where to take it after Gieco did the estimate, this place had great reviews and I was happy to see that they were true. Frank and Juan are really nice guys and the front desk is very welcoming and cordial. My father will be using them and I will go back to have something else repaired. I’ll start with a Huge WOWWWWW. When we first met with Juan (I believe is the owner) I was very clear that I really want them to do a beautiful job. This is the very first time I own a brand new vehicle and it was very upsetting that someone hit the car and left the scene leaving not just an ugly damage but also destroying the plan we had for the night in our 3 day vacation. Gladly, I search on Unilocal and found Juan’s Shop. I’m extremely impressed with the job they did. At one point I honestly thought they had change the door instead of fixing it, that is how beautiful the damaged door looks. I’m very impressed. As a nice gesture they wash and vacuum the car, also His office help me get a rental car. I Highly recommend this shop. Thank you so very much Juan, Lory and everybody else.

Awesome 1^st time experience. I had my side view mirror cracked. I called and everyone I spoke to on the phone was polite, kind and friendly. I got a price quote and they ordered my part for me which came the next day. They told me to stop by anytime after it arrives and they will have someone install it for me right there on the spot. I arrived around 4pm and told them I was there and the nice woman at the front desk knew who I was. One of the owners checked on my while I was waiting to make sure I was being taken care of, little things like that make me know that they care about customer service.
The gentleman came out with my part and replaced it in about 5 minutes as promised. Even though it was a minor job I would definitely come back to them for future work and estimates. Give them a call and let them show you why they have so many positive reviews on Unilocal,it’s not without reason.

Expectt nothing but top quality from these guys.
So of course, my barely 3 month old M3 gets into a little accident and me and my boyfriend are more worried about the paint job. It’s mineral white and we’ve heard horror stories of collision centers not being able to match white perfectly and doing a bad job. We were debating on taking it to a Geico approved place or someone outside of Geico’s suggestion — our theory was Geico would’ve probably chosen cheap places — but we stuck to Geico’s list and we found Gabriel’s (aka Gotham City collision?). We were a little wary but we read so many good reviews and at this point what more could go wrong.
We made a visit for them to take a look at it and give us a rough estimate on what needs to be fixed. I think they knew my bf was silently freaking out about the paint so Frank, one of the owners, came to us and gave us a whole run through (and a tour of the place). Told us he’s done it before, what it takes to paint that pearlescent white, and that they won’t let it go until its perfect. He even showed us a few of the cars he fixed for more proof. To be honest, we were nervous wrecks coming in and we left feeling very confident in Frank and the team. That and he’s a real car enthusiast so my boyfriend, also being a huge car enthusiast, just felt better that it was with someone who cared as much about cars as he did.
I believe the fender was actually on back order for about 2 – 3 weeks so we had to wait a bit but the minute it came in, Frank gave us a call and gave us an estimated time we could pick up the car. When we finally came back to pick our up baby, it looked FLAWLESS. We tried so hard to find some kind of imperfection — and we spent a LONG time inspecting it there and at home — and yea, it was just perfect and looked brand new. We also did a little DIY mod on the car that just came out reaalllly bad… and they went the extra mile and fixed it for us!

I brought my Subaru Impreza here after it got smashed up in a parking garage. I came because they were highly recommended by a friend, but luckily they also turned out to be affiliated with Geico which ended up being very handy. These guys were absolutely great, very friendly, honest, and professional with excellent customer service. In addition to the work that was being covered by insurance, I had some scratches I wanted taken care of as well– they gave me a great price on everything and got it done faster than they initially said they would. My car looks completely perfect now, practically brand new! In addition, the Geico team working at this office is very good– they had a rental car waiting from me and made everything very easy and stress-​free. Overall, highly recommended!

Best experience I could’ve asked for at an auto shop. Juan took care of my car in minutes and was very friendly. Customer service is A+ and honest people work here. Highly recommend and will be coming again.

Seamless process. Quick turn-​around with attention to details. Juan cares about the customers’ car and spent time educating me. Went to them based on great reviews and I liked that they were an Audi authorized repair center.

This place gave me a a very reasonable quote for a ding on my left panel. Gabriel is the one who gave it to me. He was so nice; and I mentioned I just wanted functionality. Not only did they do an excellent job and match the paint perfectly but they cleaned the whole inside of my car too! Beautiful beautiful.

Before I even write anything about my repair experience, I can honestly say that your research for an excellent repair shop is done and you SHOULD go here.
I own a FIT and was hit by a pickup truck while parked. Damage to the front end, including bumper, headlight, fender, and hood. Sorry I didn’t take any before pictures.
The whole process took about two weeks because I went through the insurance of the person that hit me.
When I received my car i didn’t even recognize it. Juan which i believe is the owner, explained to me the work they did and even some additional problems that they were kind enough to fix. Not only did they do an excellent job they also restored the undamaged headlight, wax/​polished the car, fixed my plate (lol) and in all seriousness the front end looked better then when i purchased it off the lot.
I am extremely happy with the repairs. I’ve used many other repair shops including some from around the area. Those don’t compare, this shop is definitely above the rest in workmanship, and professionalism.

I leased a brand new 2015 Inifiniti Q50 in May of this year. Unfortunately I didn’t make it six months, before someone had T-​boned my driver’s side front and rear doors. Gabriel’s helped ease my pain significantly. From the moment I walked in, their staff (Frank, Joe & Lori) was extremely courteous and professional. They explained the process and provided me with a 2 week time frame. Throughout that time I received daily text updates letting me know about the status of my repairs, which was really helpful. The car was completed a few days early. I was completely satisfied with the quality of work — my car was back to brand new status. Thanks for making a stressful situation as painless as possible.

I brought in my 2013 Honda Accord here to get my rear bumper replaced after being badly damaged from a hit while it was parked during the day. Not only did they do an amazing job but I was completely worry-​free and at ease throughout the whole process.
After speaking to Juan when I picked up my car he explained to me that it would’ve taken even shorter to complete the job but he wanted to insure the quality of the work. After getting a stock bumper, they felt that that wasn’t good enough so they went out and got a original Honda bumper to replace my old one. Now it looks literally brand new as if nothing happened.
On top of the work, they cleaned and polished the entire car. My car probably hasn’t looked this clean and shiny since about a year ago. Lol. Honestly, all the little extra things business do go a long way with us customers. Gabriel’s is one of the few companies that actually care about the work they put out. No wonder Geico choose them as an express shop.

2015 WRX owner — 5 stars from a very picky customer (August 2015). I would normally never leave my car in just anyone’s hands — especially for a few days — but with these guys I know my car is safe. I always hand wash my car and know a good amount about detailing. These guys are professional, timely, hard working, very polite and most importantly with great results. A Jeep damaged my rear bumper during parallel parking and this shop brought it back to a perfect state. Frank, the owner, is a great guy. Takes care of your car as if it was his own– I always highly respect that. They even removed a scratch on my driver side door for free during the initial inspection! That is excellent customer service and I was sold to come back for the main repair! I even returned later for paint protection for the rear bumper and will come back for more. Looks amazing now. This is a shop someone as crazy as me when it comes to keeping the car in the best condition would be more than happy to return and leave it in their hands — no fear of having some new little damage etc after the main repair — they really are pros! Thanks guys for all the hard work

My review is a bit overdue, but I just had to say how great this place is. My car had some scratches on the right rear side and I was looking for the best place to get it fixed. After going around other repair shops, I came across Gabriel’s collision center and in really glad that I did. They gave me a great price quote and I got my car back in two days. In the unfortunate event that something happens to my car, I definitely won’t hesitate to bring it back to them

Got into a minor accident last week. Unavoidably, there are some damage to the car. Geico directed me to Gabriel’s Collision Center in LIC for the all in one auto services. I was greeted by Juan right away when I arrived. He explained the whole procedure clearly then walked me to the office to complete the paperwork. Afterwards, they started the inspection right away, showing me what needed to be done. I walked away with confidence knowing that I’m in good hands.
A few days later, I went to pick up the car. I felt like I walked into a car dealer and picked up a new car. It looks brand new. The team is friendly and professional. The services are excellent and the communication is great. I’m so glad that I’ve been taken care of. Thanks!

I never write reviews, but I felt very compelled to right one for Gabriel’s Collision Center due to the impeccable service I experienced.
My car was brought here after major damage from a rear side-​impact collision into my BMW. Gabriel’s was listed as a Geico Auto Repair Express Center so all billing and insurance reporting was done conveniently and quickly through the insurance without my involvement.
When I went to pick up the car, I was greeted by Frank, the owner. He knew every detail of the repair work that was done and walked me through everything. The car looked better than it did before the accident. I mentioned I had previously had issues with my headlight (unrelated to the accident) and he and his team spent the next hour helping me troubleshoot the issue. I have never experienced this level of service before at any garage.
It is never a good situation when your car gets involved in an accident, but for the best service, I would highly recommend bringing your car to Gabriel’s. They are professional, courteous and patient. Great job, guys. Thank you very much!

I took my car to Gabriel’s Collision after somewhat backed into my car two months after I bought it. I didn’t know who did it because it parked on the street and they didn’t leave a note. Needless to say I was super annoyed. I called Geico (my insurer) and they suggested Gabriel’s. I am so happy I listened! Not only did they do an amazing job but they are really nice people. Geico, my insurance company recommended Gabriel’s to repair a badly broken front door and fender after a biker ran into it. The great thing about this spot is that Geico has an assessor who works on site as well as an Enterprise car rental service. All of the employees were extremely helpful, informing and efficient keeping me updated on the process of repair.
Enterprise provided me with a rental to drive home that was waiting for me at Gabriel’s which was very convenient. Enterprise charges $ 250 deposit upon rental that is returned when you drop off the vehicle. Javier the assessor called me a few days after I had dropped off the car to give me an exact estimate of damages and told me my car would be ready in a week.
The only reason I am not giving Gabriel’s 5 star is that they did not wash my car after service. The car was dirty and this made me upset. They told me the car had been parked outside after it was finished and that it had not been washed. One of the guys told me that it was too late in the day to wash it now and told me to come back the next day which was inconvenient. I went back the next day and they took me right away and did an excellent wash. I was very pleased. The body of the car looks fantastic.
