I have never written a review in my life but the city needs to something about the x68 driver Cynthia. I am 9 months pregnant waiting for the next x68 on 57th street and 3rd avenue, she sees a line and doesn’t even stop with the sign «next bus please». She sees me, it’s cold pouring rain outside and drives by. It was ver obvious that she had seats on the bus. Really how many times can someone complain about her? The city needs to get rid of her she has no etiquette. She always always does this. The city needs to get their act together and start hiring more reliable personnel.

(Revised partially in June, 2015 because of fare changes) Fare is $ 6.50. Only commute time and weekdays. I use this bus once in a while from Floral Park. I used to take Long Island Railroad from Floral Park station to Jamaica, and switch to Subway to get Manhattan. Only LIRR fare cost $ 7.75 at peak time. on LIRR, the seat is available most of the time, but when I take subway, I rarely get seated because the seats are taken at the departing station. On the other hand, this bus is not crowded at all and I don’t have to transfer. Inside of bus is clean and very relaxing. The road is a little bumpy, but I still like this bus ride.

The X68 Express Bus runs from Floral Park, Queens to Manhattan in the am, and vice verse in the evening. I like the express bus in the evening so I don’t have to deal with the trains.
In the morning, I find that the express bus does not really save me time. The train is quicker. But if I want some good shut eye, occasionally I will take this bus in the morning (not often, though).
The driver takes the 59th St bridge to Queens Blvd to Hillside Avenue. The last stop is Hillside Avenue & 268th Street (border Queens/​L.I.).
