*** OVERALLRATINGFORTHELAUNDROMATITSELF: 2.5STARS… MAYBEBORDERLINE3STARS *** *** RATINGFORCUSTOMERSINTHELAUNDROMAT: 1STAR…(barely) *** I can’t f’ing stand this place for the most part but… for the most part, it gets the job done. The dryers take awhile. I don’t load them up too much. I’m not even sure how many times I have to reload money to get them near dry. The cost is 0.30 for 8 minutes & I usually start out with 24 minutes. The clothes are still basically damp to not even close! But that’s not the biggest problem… I don’t know if it has something to do with the neighborhood or location but the people I encounter most of the time in this place don’t seem to have proper«public» etiquette. If there is such a thing… Sometimes just to pull into the parking lot can be a task in itself. For some reason, people feel the need to partially block or entirely block the driveway altogether! Unf’ingreal! And then there’s the … kids … *gulp* … Ok, maybe not so much the kids but their moronic parents that just let them … GO! Sometimes I wonder if I’m in a place of business or a playground ?? I’ve seen kids crawl & roll all over the floor & under the tables. I almost got knocked over by a pack of little critters running wild one nite with absolutley no parental supervision. Wtf? One lady actually had her little girl standing up on the tables where you fold your«clean» clothes & also standing in the baskets where you place«clean» clothes after drying. And yes, the kid had shoes on that she was running around on the floor with earlier. These people have no common sense whatsoever. Or they just don’t give a shit about others around them… apparently!(I did tell the attendant about the girl in the clothes basket & asked her to please wipe it down. She kinda half-assed did)… I guess. Then there’s the people that gotta get too close for comfort. I don’t know what it is but it seems without fail when I’m there on a light nite in this pretty sizeable establishment, people find the machine RIGHT next to mine! I mean, not even like a space in between machines. Right next to! It’s like when you’re in a public bathroom with several stalls open & someone comes in & makes their way RIGHT next to your stall. I’m really not sure what that is all about… Last nite there was a couple in the section I was drying my clothes in. They were just starting their wash. The guy walked down behind me where their washing machine was & sprayed something. I wasn’t sure what he was saying but I thought he mentioned… bugs? I then got a whiff of something that lasted awhile & was starting to make me queazy. Bug spray? What?!! I already started several dryers right across from them & the fans weren’t running. Ugh! That’s another thing. This place gets cheap with the air. They claim to be air-conditioned but I think that’s on very rare occasions. I usually have to ask them to put the fans on when I’m there in the summertime. They will do it if you ask though. I wondered why I woke up with a headache & feeling nauseous a good part of the day. Guess that explains it. Then there’s the TV’s … Well, if you’re lacking entertainment, ya always got that to fall back on! HA! Good luck :)
