Touch of Class Painting

I was looking to hire someone for a drywall patching and paint job of a 10″ x 4″ area in my bathroom. There were plenty of available options on Craigslist, but Touch of Class was towards the top of the search inquiry. The post seemed promising, so I emailed Carlos in order to get a repair estimate. I took a picture of the area in need of work and attached it to the email in order to get a more accurate quote, but Carlos told me that the attached was corrupted. He asked me to text him the picture, which I obliged to. I had not received confirmation from him by 16 hours after the original submission, so I wanted to make sure I had texted it to the correct individual. I didn’t expect a full-​blown estimate and appointment availability, but rather a «yep, I got it!»
However, Carlos responded to me a minute later with the following: «listen stop texting me you’re already going to be annoying.» A little overblown for someone who only sent two texts, no?
As of the time of this review, others have indicated Carlos to be professional and kind. His response to me indicates otherwise, but maybe I caught him on a bad day?
Because I was dissatisfied with his lack of professionalism and poor (potential) customer service, I chose to go with another handyman. With this in mind, my review is not based on Carlos’s actual handiwork because I did not end up hiring him to do the job. Based on the other reviews, his finished work is excellent. Of course, the other reviews also regarded him as professional, so who knows?

Carlos just finished painting and spackling an apartment of mine that was in need of repair due t o damage from tenants. Very proffesional and outstanding meticulous work. Clean drop cloths with no holes, nice and smooth sanding, great cutting in, cleaned up when done. Highly recommended and will call in the future. Excellent work ethic

Professional work that’s all I have to say he’s a professional and he knows what he’s doing plus he’s also very respectable and kind person I recommend him to everyone.
