Nice guys but quality of work is shit.
Went to the dealer because of a busted axle and a broken motor mount.
Dealer stated whoever did work on the car had bolts missing/​wrong placement which caused the motor mount to break off the engine support bracket and in return caused the axle cv boot to rip off the transmission.
They took short cuts and Its a costly short cut!
Total cost of repairs 2019.60 which is 4x the amount of the initial repair for my issue !!
As you can tell I’m very pissed off right now .
Edit: how confident are you?
Do you know the different strength certain bolts have? Because you would’ve know a shorter class 8.8 bolt does not go in a longer class 10.9 required bracket.
If it breaks a week after the repair and a dealership that specializes in my vehicle says that was the reason why, then that’s the reason why. It’s already been repaired correctly by the dealership. I would never let you guys touch a car again.
BTW I’m a SAE certified mechanic and I know what went wrong. I know who was responsible. I regret not doing the work myself because I was tired of being under the car with jacks. I now remember why I went to school for cars. There is nothing you can do to fix the problem you’ve cause without you losing money and you’re not going to go that route. I can take you to small claims but by the grace of god I got it covered under warranty so it’s not even worth the hassle.
Just do a better job and stop rushing through your work. I know out of a few thousand cars they’ll be mistakes here and there, it happens, but this was pure negligence.

Excellent service, had them install a roof rack on my jeep. They said they never done it before, but didn’t sway away from the challenge. A few hours later I had a new roof rack installed on my jeep. Couldn’t be happier. A1, thanks again guys.

Yeah… they might be physically working on a Sunday, but they’re not all mentally there. Asked them to replace my steering fluids since it’s all empty and a few seconds later some guy pours brake fluids down the wrong reservoir. The guy had to drain it all out and replace the fluids with the correct one.

These guys are life savers being open on a Sunday.
Gary read my CEL code, ordered/​installed the sensor, and had me on the road in just a few hours. I couldn’t have asked for more. Not sure who I spoke with on the phone the previous Thursday, but he was super helpful as well.
After two years of living in College Point, I’ve finally found my go-​to mechanic.

Tri City has saved my car again! My car’s whole distributor system, some ignition parts and spark plugs died. My car would not start at all. I needed to have it towed to the shop. Gary and Gene got the parts I needed on the same day. The total was around $ 400-​$ 500 just for parts excluding labor. They knew I was recently unemployed and had many bills as well. They knocked the parts prices down to $ 300 and did not charge me for labor either! On top of that they even helped me get a job interview with a business in the area. I am very grateful this business is here. They just opened within the few years and they have definitely proven to me they are here to help the community and the people in it. They will have my business for years to come. Ask for Gary or Gene!

Every time u go in there, they look at your vehicle registration or your address and they say some bull shit to you about your address is just one block from their grandmothers house or a relative or a friend or how they used to live near there to try and build rapport with u but its bullshit. They make it seem like u practically grew up together but somehow they are trying to fuck your sister behind your back. These motherfucking snakes…
I understand that every business exists to make money but I could deal with lies and bullshit if I got the service and parts which I paid for but these motherfuckers basically gave me back my used parts and said it was new so I say again FUCK THEM

I’ve brought my old 2000 Honda civic here for many years now each time Gary the owner takes great care. First time I got into an accident and needed my fender and side panels replaced and it was done within one day. Quick service! This place is equipped to do everything from engine to body and full paint. I plan to return for my yearly inspections and routine maintenence. The cheapest and fairest prices around for good work. If there’s something you’re unhappy about after the work, all his services and parts are under warranty. Just bring it back in and have it replaced no problem.

I had bodywork performed on my Lexus on two separate occasions. Each time I was quoted a reasonable price and the work was done well and on time. I dealt with Gene and Gary there and they do what they say and say what they do. They obviously understand that good communication is key. The quality of work shows an attention to detail. Whenever I had questions they would respond quickly and share their expertise and knowledge with me. My vehicle came back clean and looking great. I would not hesitate to go back again.
