The big line ups at the door are a telltale sign of how great the place is. The best ice cream in Quincy, as far as I am concerned. My partner OSA straight vanilla ice cream guy and swears by Cream & Sugar; I am a bit more adventurous. Love their banana chocolate… their coconut… And of course their macaroon ice cream… And so does my doggies.

We have lived in marina bay for 2 years. This is by far the best ice cream place with a beautiful view! Highly recommend it for fun flavors! Breakfast is ok nothing special but we still love it!

Lots of flavored to choose from – tried Snickers and Peanut-butter Oreo tonight. Nice friendly kids work the counter. Great location at end of the boardwalk at Marina Bay. Note – cash only here. Not this establishment’s fault, but at night you have to navigate through all the Jersey Shore types and hoochie Mamas on your way down the boardwalk. Entertaining to see, but doesn’t make for family-friendly scenery after 9 pm.

Many reviews call this an ice cream shop. It is much more. In fact the ice cream is the least of its attractions. Locals know this is the place to grab a great breakfast and my favorite is the breakfast sandwich that puts all others(from the major chains) to shame. It’s a fresh cooked egg and bacon with melty cheese on either bagel or english muffin. Add a cup of fresh coffee or a beverage from the cooler, pick up the morning paper, and you’re all set. The fact that you can enjoy this while sitting outside in fresh air with a great view really ups the ante. Family run business with friendly workers.

If I didn’t work in the area I would never go out of my way to come here. That said, I am savoring a thick and delicious coffee frappé that tastes as good as it sounded when I was looking for a break from hot coffee this afternoon. But at $ 5.50 it’s not something I would indulge in often. I’ve also eaten lunch here several times and the salads, sandwich fillers, and variety of breads are always very fresh and quickly prepared. And not that pricey — about $ 6-$ 7, which is standard nowadays. Biggest drawback: cash only. If you are on the boardwalk and need a quick bite or snack Cream & Sugar will hit the spot.

Nothing spectacular(we only had ice cream, which was decent), and unless you own a yacht, it feels like you’re trespassing. Oh, and it’s cash only!

Ice cream and frozen yogurt ordered through a window from a stand on a boardwalk over looking the water? Add that to a beautifully sunny day and you’ve got a little-kid-like equation for happiness. In case you need a visual: Nostalgic manner of ordering a childhood favorite + so many creamy, refreshing flavors+ waterfront seats + cloudless sunny day = innocent nom nom bliss. Yes, you can have better ice cream elsewhere, but you’ll have to enjoy it whilst sitting on a sidewalk inhaling auto fumes and dodging cyclists!

Cute place with a great location. I am a big fan of their Chocolate Almond frozen yogurt. It’s absolutely chock-full of whole almonds. So many almonds that it probably completely defeats the purpose of eating frozen yogurt, but whatever. They have a large selection of ice creams, as well as sandwiches, drinks, and candy. Grab an ice cream and a seat on the boardwalk and enjoy the Marina Bay scene; whether it’s watching the boats in the harbor, or the douchebags going to the Water Club, it’s always interesting and a good time. Cash only!

This place has pretty good ice cream! I always get the Oreo Cookie. It comes with ample oreos, but they don’t overwhelm the ice cream. The people who work behind the ice cream window are pretty nice. Maybe one day I’ll try their sandwiches and write a longer review.

Cream & Sugar is an ice cream store on the boardwalk at Marina Bay. They have a walk-up window and outside tables overlooking the water, although I saw a few tables inside, also. The kids behind the counter looked like they were having a good evening when we stepped up to the window but they indulged us as we asked lots of questions about the ice cream choices. Honestly, how are we supposed to know about Moose Tracks and Green Monster unless we ask? I settled on two flavors: peppermint stick and coffee. I don’t remember what my friends got because as soon as I had mine, I disengaged from reality to savor the taste of Christmas in a cup. Christmas on an eighty-degree day: My friends thought it was strange, but it brought back memories of childhood in California. I doubt I’ll return to Marina Bay anytime soon, but when I do, I know where I’ll have dessert.

Beautiful summer night out on the board walk over looking the boats in the marina, who wouldn’t want ice-cream? I waited in line behind nobody while the three cashiers ignored me. After about 5 – 8 minutes one girl turns to me and says, «y’all set?» I say«yep». so she turns around and continues to work. DOESANYONEKNOWWHAT«Y’ALLSET?» MEANS??? Does it mean… can I help you… have you decided… is someone else getting your order? So I say to her loudly I am ready to order if that is what you mean, she continues to ignore me. Some other girl glances at me and says something under her breath that I think might meant she will be right with me. Finally some other rude girls says, «y’all set?» So I respond with I am ready to order if that is what you mean. I order and while I am speaking the girl has turned her back to me and run towards what she thinks I am ordering before I can even finish my sentence so she can hurry up and get my order done and get me out of her face. Because she is so quick to run and get my ice cream she can’t hear the end of my order and asks me to repeat myself several times, and can’t hear me. I watched as they rolled their eyes and pissed and moaned about the line of customers that formed after me. Don’ t get a job at an ice cream joint on the board walk in the summer if you don’t want to wait on customers!!! The ice cream was okay but I would NEVER go back there because it isn’t worth the hassle. I am not a big fan of giving people my business who treat their customers like this.

It seems that only those who frequent the Marina Bay area know about Cream & Sugar. Located far out on the Marina(you’ll almost hit water!), Cream & Sugar is a tiny sandwich & ice cream shop that has some of the area’s best food. Only open during the spring/summer season, they offer a wide variety of freshly-made, custom sandwiches, made-to-order breakfasts, soups, salads, coffees, drinks and fresh-baked snacks. They even have an ice cream shop on the other side. They have a few indoor tables and a few outdoor tables, but everything can also be made to go. Their deli meats are incredibly fresh, their sandwich board has some well thought-out combinations, and everything i’ve ever eaten there has been wonderful. The staff is super friendly, the prices very reasonable, and the atmosphere fun and casual. Great for a low-key lunch.
