Jack arranged a showing less than 8 hours after my initial call and after we put in the rental application, he was so attentive during the waiting process. He was incredibly responsive by phone and email and he really knew the area well. We were first time home buyers who did a lot in the way of self education to help prepare ourselves, but we still had a lot to learn, and I am so happy we decided to go with Norman Tuttle at Granite Group. Norm is a very patient and knowledgeable broker who really knows how to handle the process from start to finish.
We met/​interviewed several brokers before choosing him.
We got started months ahead of our move in date to help make sure we were fully prepared, and he didn’t do anything at all in the way of trying to push us to purchase. He was very patient throughout the entire process, never once did we feel rushed or pressured to purchase.
He never tried to push us above our budget. I wanted to avoid the Realtor who tempts you with a property priced outside of your budget, thus upping their commission, and Norm did the opposite. Only showed us properties we could get within our budget, and even tried showing us some bargain/​potential homes.
When it came closing time on the property we chose, he was great too. He suggested offers that we were more than comfortable with, in fact we as the buyers, went in with slightly higher than his recommendation that’s how conservative he was. He also assisted us in the other little things in the offer that don’t make him any money, and can in fact lose him in commission (seller covering closing costs, household items being included in sale, and deductions made after inspection).
Being new buyers, we needed to be educated on the legal representation, insurance practices, lead times, mortgage providers, etc. and he helped us with everything and gave as much of his time that it took to make it happen.
He was representing us, and only us. It felt like we were his only clients, even though I know we weren’t. We ended up purchasing the dream home we wanted, and couldn’t be happier.
I would recommend Norm to my closest friends and families, let alone anyone reading this review.

Have never sold property with them, but we used Jim McGue as our buyer’s agent and he was everything you could possibly ask for: honest, friendly, knowledgeable… and he drove a tough bargain on our behalf to boot!
