The only place where you’ll find FRESH mozzarella in Boston. That means they make it themselves instead of it being made somewhere else and trucked in. That makes a pretty big difference in my book. The price is not exclusive, either — last trip I got four balls-​o-​cheese and spent about $ 5. It’s not Italy, sure — but the best I’ve had in the States!

This place reminds me why it is great to be Italian! Well it’s not like I forget but I love walking in here and being immersed in the smell of cheeses, meat, oils, etc.
This hole in the wall place provides you with fresh cheeses, like mozzarella that is made daily.
My biggest weakness are the pickled stuffed cheery peppers… veggie, meat, cheese, in a briny oil. I can easily put back 6, or a dozen, okay I wont lie… easily a dozen. Damn.
The service is really friendly… so go in to check out their imports, get some fresh cheese, and a sandwich. You cant pass up an opportunity to get a great sandwich on fresh Italian bread and with the meats and cheeses they sell.
