Piece of Cake

I stopped in the store after reading an article in the local paper and checking out there website. It was the exotic gelato flavors that lured me in, however when I got into the store it was extremely confusing. It was more factory than a store front and I couldn’t find anything on the price sheets for pints of gelato. I had wrongly envisioned a beautiful gelato spread and storefront. The gentlemen there was nice, but not good at educating his customers about how or what to order. I was with two other coworkers who where also so confused they didn’t buy anything. I did purchase some ice cream pie that comes in two slice packs and it was phenomenal! If I based my entire review on taste alone I would have given five stars. Truly a delicious treat! In the end I did leave there sad that I didn’t get any basil or lavender gelato and bit confused.

Delicious! The employees at the store were nice and helpful, I got a box with 2 slices of ice cream cake and it was both reasonably priced and very tasty! Will definitely visit again

Disclaimer! I don’t eat many sweets myself, but everyone I know that has tried the products from this company has had nothing but rave reviews.
I see their truck frequently on the Jersey Shore, so they seem to be moving product and if it wasn’t good, the restaurants wouldn’t be buying from them.

Okay, I have to admit that I haven’t actually been to the store. However, I was lucky enough to be a judge at the Rahway Taste of Spring and Piece of Cake was serving samples of their gelato and sorbet. I am completely embarrassed to admit how much of it I ended up eating… I tried the Minty Lemon Sorbet, the Fig & Walnut gelato, and the Graham Slam Cracker gelato. They were all spectacular. So creamy and so good. I’m not usually a sorbet person but I ate all of the Minty Lemon Sorbet sample, it was just so refreshing and perfectly tart. I can’t wait to stop by the actual store and see what else they have.
