Scaldino Basement Solutions is a family owned and operated NJ basement waterproofing company run by founder Nicholas Scaldino. After running a successful masonry business, Nicholas decided to put his skill and experience to use helping people with their basement waterproofing needs.

Business Owner

Nicholas Scaldino is the owner and operator of Scaldino Basement Solutions. He learned the masonry trade at a young age working for his father. While being a mason he got introduced to a growing number of water problems for homeowners. Since he knew foundations and knew what was wrong he decided to start Scaldino Basement Solutions. He is part of the basement health association and a certified dealer for Grate Products a leader in the waterproofing industry.

I couldn’t really say anything bad about this company. I previously used another company to do some work in my basement and I should of found and used scaldino instead. Nick was very personal and down to earth. No strong sales tactics and he goes through everything with you personally. They installed a french drain quickly and neatly where water was streaming out of my foundation wall. That area has been dry ever since. I had an issue with some work and Nick not only was on top of it but never shunned me off and helped me every step of the way. I found him on Angieslist the reviews were all great. Price was very reasonable and cheaper than the previous company I used. Sometimes a bigger company isn’t better, he proved this to me. I’ve quite a few bad experiences with contractors and this was one of the few that was easy and painless.
