Our handymen and technicians possess a wide variety of expertise and bring together the trades of carpentry, maintenance, painting, stonework, landscaping, and problem solving. As a company we take pride in our work and our employees always conduct themselves in a professional manner on and off the construction site.

History

Established in 1997.

906 Improvements, started out as Olde World Stone Company. The owner Jason Gibson built stone walls, ponds, patios with natural stone and installed and designed landscapes, all over the Raleigh /​Wake county area. After 8 years, many costumers requested other services from Olde World. The company shifted its focus from stone and landscape to home repairs. Olde World was repairing decks, siding, tile, grout, refinishing cabinets, installing fixtures, etc. The company then started to build screen porches, decks, and detached garages. Old World then started working with a Feng Shui Interior designer, to design renovations for entire homes, bathrooms and kitchens. 4 years ago the company decided to change the name to 906 Improvements LLC, so the name would be more representative of the services they offer. Over the last 4 years 906 has continued to offer these services to residential clients and added a commercial division to the company, servicing local businesses and chain stores.

Owner, Jason Gibson brings diverse experiences to the company. It is this diversity that enables 906 Improvements to deliver a comprehensive and quality product to each and every one of our clients.

Jason has over 15 years experience in all types of home improvements, finish work, repairs and additions. Whether it is a delicate repair, that does not result in major disruption of your home, full-​scale remodeling, creating a perfect backyard oasis, personalizing the cabinetry, adding built in details to your home, or using recycled/​reclaim materials for your Green Project– Jason can handle it.

Jason has experience in turn-​key landscape/​hardscape design and installation, as well as being a gifted stone mason. Stone masonry is swiftly becoming a lost art and Jason is one of the remaining few that shapes and sets each stone by hand, giving each piece the attention to detail that ensures beauty and longevity.
