The staff in this store is super friendly and knowledgeable. They are happy to answer and questions or make suggestions.
I had a very patient sales lady that helped me find a perfect piece of lingerie even though I came in not really knowing what I wanted.
I am really happy that they have added more plus size options. There used to literally be one small rack of mostly body stockings but now there is a larger rack with many options in both style and color.
I do wish they carried more toys in a wider budget range… everything is super expensive. I go here for my lingerie but usually elsewhere for my accessories.

The staff is friendly here. Clothing selection is nice. Great selection of lotions and the like, toys, and even shoes! Fitting rooms are spacious.

Adam & Eve is one of the new modern-​style adult toy stores — modern, friendly and nice to be in, with discrete and helpful staff.
It’s a good enough store, but the Raleigh ones have a very limited selection of toys, with premium pricing at that. If you want anything esoteric or unique, you probably won’t find it there.
Clothing is a strong point, as they have a great selection and regular sales that will allow you to get things at a great price. Quality clothes too. They also carry shoes, but nothing in large sizes, sorry t-​girls.
All in all, A&E adds up to pretty good, but truly, other stores in the area exceed them in many ways. Given that the A&E stores are out of the way for most people, I wonder if it wouldn’t be worth the drive to go to one of the others.

In recent years, the marketplace has allowed for stores like this to pop up in every city. Where it used to be that any couple who were looking for a way to (ahem) «spice things up» meant braving a sleazy porn store in some back alley, now we see the influx of a new friendlier «adult store».
This means less sleaze (although still enough to keep thing interesting), friendlier employees, and prices a bit higher than the other sort of store. If you’re looking for a place to go without feeling embarrassed or ashamed (or like you’re going to catch something just breathing in the air), however, it’s worth the extra money.
Adam & Eve is a small chain that carries toys, novelties, lingerie and shoes. It’s aimed primarily at couples. Although there are stores that do the same thing but better in the area, Adam & Eve is definitely a safe bet for you to head out to with that special someone in your life.
