Dr. John S. Boccella uses a unique combination of two gentle chiropractic techniques. The Atlas Orthogonal Technique focuses on correcting the spinal misalignment at the top of the neck just below the skull. This is done using a painless percussion instrument that is programmed based on precise measurements from your X-rays. This promotes healing from the head downward.
The Activator Methods Technique also utilizes a gentle instrument to correct spinal and extremity misalignments. It is based on the foundation principle meaning is promotes healing from the feet upward.
The combination of these two techniques encourages faster healing times without additional stress or discomfort to your body!
Dr. Boccella was also one of the first doctors in the Triangle to offer Low Level (Cold) Laser Therapy and Magnetic Resonance Stimulation as adjunctive therapies to stimulate faster healing, decreased inflammation and pain.
Dr. Boccella sees people of all ages from infants to seniors.

Dr. John Boccella was the first Board Certified Atlas Orthogonal and Activator Methods chiropractor in Raleigh, North Carolina. His vision was to provide gentle chiropractic care to all families in the Triangle community while delivering friendly, individualized care and exceptional customer service.
