Opened an account at Creedmoor branch. Decided to close it as my employer is affiliated with a credit union so wanted to switch from BB&T to the local credit union. Was charged a $ 50.00 fee to close checking and savings accounts! The employee who closed them did not tell us and we were issued the balance from the account it was minus $ 50.00! I communicated that I was not told this and both the employee and the teller said there was nothing they could do about it. Absolutely ridiculous to charge a fee to close an account and then not even tell me!!! Crazy. My reply: «this is exactly why I am going to a credit union». They acted like they could careless. FYI. Make sure you don’t get fees tacked on and screwed out of $!

Not much to say here, came during the lunch hour. Quick, efficient and courteous service. In and out in under 5 minutes.
