Our office is Bilingual speaking both English and Spanish. We are a Wellness orientated hands-​on Chiropractic clinic. Dr Chisholm has 20 years of experience treating Auto accidents, Headaches/​Migraines, Neck pain, Low back pain, Carpal Tunnel — wrist and hand pain, We have Disc bulges/​Slipped disc programs with Decompression treatment. We also work with Sports Injuries, Nutritional consultation and advice, Cold Laser for joint pain. Rock Tape/​Kinesio Tape for sports performance enhancement.

History

Established in 1995.

Dr Chisholm has been helping patients in Glenwood South and downtown for 20 years. He was honored to serve as one of the Official Chiropractors of the NHL Carolina Hurricanes. As a office we are very active in the community with the Downtown Raleigh Alliance and the Glenwood South Neighborhood Collaborative. Our office is also Bilingual (Spanish) and participates in The Hispanic Chamber and many events in the Latino community.

I called them last night after suffering a lower back injury. They worked me in first thing in the morning. Very friendly staff and Doctor Ward explained everything to me clearly. Made my experience enjoyable and excellent. They were able to get me on the road to being pain free with my back.

Though I must admit, they are very friendly, I did not enjoy my experience here at all. I felt the office was very unprofessional, instructions about wait time, paperwork, etc. was not clear over the phone in making my appointment, or upon arrival.
Also I was informed once I arrived that it was necessary for the doctor to get an x-​Ray for all new patients. I understand this for a couple of reasons, but none-​the-​less if this is standard operating procedure for the office, it should be communicated well in advance for those who are working through insurance.
All and all I thought this experience was lacking. The doctor was a little too pushy for my comfort, I have since decided to find a new location.

I’ve definitely seen improvement since I started receiving chiropractic care and physical therapy at this office. I used to get severe migraines every 2 – 3 weeks and now I have manageable headaches much more infrequently (usually associated with a neck related strain from sports or sleeping without enough neck support). They have always been professional and polite, and I’m grateful to have a good chiropractor so close to home!

Very friendly and helpful staff– I am feeling a lot better after coming here and I believe the ongoing maintenance plan has really helped my pain to stay under control after more than a year. Appointments are easy to schedule and I have not had to wait long during most visits.

Dr. C is thorough and succinct. I like the way I’m treated there by him and his staff. I was very nervous to have my initial chiropractic treatments but it has been effective both times that I have needed it. I work in a very physically demanding field and had been to see Dr. C in the past for low back pain and recently was involved in an accident and had some neck/​mid-​back pain. With the adjustments, massage and exercise regiment that was provided with both courses of treatment I was able to get back on my feet and back to normal activities in just a few weeks.
The only downfalls to this practice are the length of time spent in the office (plan on at least 45 minutes for each visit) and the amount of visits they say are needed to treat you. I felt like I was wasting time (and money) for continuing to go when I did not have pain or any problems at all.
