Tula studied at The Fashion Institute of New York. Tula was employed at the top fabric houses in the industry. After a very successful career in the design industry, Tula brought her vast experience to The Carolinas to Launch ‘Design by Tula’.

Before launching her own business, Tula studied at The Fashion Institute ofTechnology in New York City. Tula worked for two of the most prestigious design houses in the textile industry and was responsible for identifying the newest fashion and color trends for each new season and developing the company’s new product lines. Tula relocated to North Carolina where she became the New Products Design and Development Manager for Westwood Incorporated and coordinated product design, production and technical matters, and sales product support between the New York office and the manufacturing facilities throughout the country.
