We are a full service design studio based in Raleigh, NC, and serving the Triangle and surrounding areas. We believe interior design can leave clients unsatisfied with the final results… they end up with a decorated home, but without any hint of their personality. Our approach showcases clients’ existing décor, making their house a haven that is uniquely theirs.

Our store similarly reflects many styles, mixing French with industrial, shabby chic with modern, and beachy with rustic. With an ever-​changing mix of antiques, vintage, made-​in-​America, and upcycled furniture and accessories, we are sure to have something for you!

History

Established in 2007.

Form & Function expanded with a store front that opened May 10, 2013. Offering vintage and antique items as well as products that have been repurposed, made-​in-​America, or have some sort of «green» quality, the store seamlessly blends the old with the new.

Business Owner

Like all women, Carole Marcotte wears many hats: wife, mother, actress, serial renovator, and community activist. After many requests for home «interventions» from friends and family, she developed Form & Function as a way to help folks realize their goal of a happily-​functioning and beautiful dwelling, a place to call home.
