History

Established in 2015.

In 1957, HoneyBaked Ham began with one store in Detroit, Michigan. The founder, Harry J. Hoenselaar, selected the finest quality bone-​in hams, which he’d smoke for hours over a unique blend of hardwood chips to add extra flavor and tenderness. The final touch was Harry’s sweet glaze and, of course, the way he sliced it in a single, continuous spiral — a process he patented.

Business Owner

David has a long standing history with The HoneyBaked Ham Company. He began his career with HoneyBaked at the age of 16 and progressed with the company until he finished his corporate career as a Regional Manager overseeing sales and operations of retail stores in NC, SC, FL and Eastern TN.

In August of 2015, David became a Franchisee with The HoneyBaked Ham and Café and built a brand new location in the city that he was born and raised. David lives and is entrenched in the town of Wake Forest, NC. and is passionate about serving his customers and giving back to the community that he loves.
