Meet the Business Owner

Chris H.

Business Owner

Chris is a native of the Raleigh area and has been interested in horticulture and landscaping his entire life. Recognizing his passion for the industry early, he attended NC State and graduated with a degree in Landscape Horticulture. Chris began his career working with NC State University’s Forestry division, gaining valuable experience in NC flora and faunas Field and Laboratory manager for their tree genetics research program, while building and working for his family business part-​time. In 1999, Chris made HuntScapes his full-​time passion, and assumed duties as President. The business has continued to grow and flourish under his guidance.

Chris has served as president of Carolina Irrigation System. And currently serves on the board of NC811.
