Intelligent Electronics is a custom home A/​V company that specializes in home theaters, whole house and built-​in music systems, media rooms, surround sound systems, security and servailence systems, resedential IT solutions and residential control solutions. We offer system design, installation, programming, set-​up, configuration and calibration services on all of the products we sell. In our Raleigh showroom, we display several complete home theater systems, a speaker comparison room, a variety of flat panel and media room solutions, lighting control, custom remote controls, including tablet and smart phone control options.

History

Established in 1994.

We have seen many changes in the home electronics industry as well as the Triangle Area community. Our original display was a first generation DVD player with 55″ CRT rear projector TV and a rather bulky 5.1 speaker system. Since then, we have been providing our customers with the latest home technologies. Now, TVs are larger but thin and speakers are smaller but better sounding, all at a lower cost and can be conroled from an ipad.

Business Owner

Dan grew up in Cary, graduated from Cary High School in 1986 and studied statistics at NCSU. He started Intelligent Electronics out of his home in 1994, while working nights at the Angus Barn. He opend the retail showroom in 2000 and the rest is history.
