Maid Perfect Housekeeping

I wish I could give Maid Perfect a higher score, but I fired them today. I used them for 6 months, and each crew did an amazing job. Unfortunately, a few of the crews also left with more cleaning things than they arrived with, and when I asked for them back the owner made me feel like I was being the unreasonable one. First it was a squeegee… I asked for it back, it didn’t return, whatever, I bought a new one to hang on the shower wall. No big deal. Then two months later, my wall hanging squeegee disappeared. And my scrub brush. And my Bella Casa broom… when I called and complained the owner informed me his crew doesn’t leave with cleaning things that aren’t theirs, and that I must not be looking hard enough. They eventually found my squeeguee, scrub brush, and a mop bucket that I wasn’t even aware was missing until then, and dropped them off at the house. After insisting that they didn’t have my broom, Carlos agreed to pay for a new one. I bought a new one and resolved to get my key back, and a new company. Today they came by for the last time, and the crew did another amazing job cleaning so I was second guessing myself for canceling… then I noticed my Swiffer was gone. Sigh. Really? It’s so so so petty, but I shouldn’t have to write my name on my own stuff, or hide it from the cleaning crew! I’m so done.
