Slowest place in Raleigh to get a sub! 20 min wait for an order when there were only 6 people in the restaurant with three already with their food. Should have driven the extra mike to Jersey Mikes!

This store will be closing 12÷23÷13. Apparently the landlord has not renewed their lease because they want to combine this space and the one next door for a new business. The next closest Penn Station is Falls of Neuse and Spring Forest. Always good service and food is fresh.

Though it is very similar to other sub shops the service and food has always been great. The fresh cut fries set them apart from most other sub shops They are cooked to order and tasty. I would defiantly recommend giving this place a try.

This place was recommended to me by a few people. People that are no longer allowed too recommend places to me that is. They said the fries are spectacular. Wrong. They said the steak and cheese sub was awsome. Wrong. They said I had to eat there. Wrong again. The steak and chees sub was lackluster. The fries were ok, but not spectacular. The lemonade was probably the best part of my $ 12 meal. It was tart and didn’t have that fake lemonade chemical taste. The store was clean and the staff were actually very friendly. Kudos to the woman that took my order and took her time to explain the menu to me. Not her fault the meal was sub par. Over all: Unimpressed

From a sub standpoint Penn Station is more a variation of a Quiznos than a Jersey Mikes. Toasted subs were OK,. but for a cold Italian I would still opt for Jersey Mikes. For Cheesesteaks I’d have to favor one of the several shops in the Triangle that specialize in Phillys. This location was very clean and the staff was helpful and friendly.

Fries … Delish! Italian sub … Yumm yumm! Lemonade … Oh yea bring it on! Nice little sandwich shop! Haven’t had a bad sub yet! I love that they put hot banana peppers on their Italian sub!!! Ohhh that’s a tasty burn!!! And I LOVE that they have malt vinegar for the fries! That’s the best way to eat them!!! Keep up the good work!

This could just be my new favorite sandwich joint! My first visit today. Ordered the Philly Cheese Steak. Warm, ooey, gooey and oh so delish! Bread is so soft! All the ingredients are fresh! Can’t wait to go back again and try the other subs they offer! Service is great too — very friendly!

Penn Station East Coast Subs is pretty convenient to our house and has very good subs. I think it is a chain, but in my opinion their subs are better than most of the other chain sub restaurants in the area. Most of their subs are hot subs and they have a good variety. My personal favorite is the chicken teriyaki sub, which also includes cheese, mushrooms and onions. My husband is a fan of the philly. I do find it strange that a lot of their subs include pizza sauce. They also have a few variations of Italian subs, a pizza sub, reuben and additional varieties of chicken and club subs. There is something for everyone here. My husband and I will usually share a small side of fries to go with our sandwiches, which are fresh and crispy. The small size of fries can easily be split between two people. Prices are very reasonable and the food is prepared quickly. This is a nice spot for a quick lunch! The service is always friendly!

I visit Kroger often, and have noticed this place sitting there. Last week my girlfriend and I gave it a try. It was much better than I expected! Everything seems to be pretty fresh, and the customer service is friendly. The food is great, especially for the price. I also like how you can get fries at a sandwich shop, and I would recommend the chocolate chunk cookie if you have the extra room in your stomach ;)

Took my 6 year old for dinner. When we walked in we were the only customers. By the time we left two other couples entered. Got the order to go. I got a Italian with everything and added spicy mustard. My daughter got a kids turkey. Let me tell you this sub was so good! I didn’t want to eat it all but couldn’t help myself! The sub was filling over with fillings. The onions are cut so thin and with the vinegar make them seem pickled! Freaking delicious! I took away a star cause the don’t combo meals, everything is additional and they said 6 minutes but it really took 15. All in all we will be back sooner than later.

OK… today was my first day here. I have driven past here a GAZILLION times and never noticed it. Yes, I am always this super aware! LOL Boy…I was missing out. I had an Italian Sub, Fries and Fresh Squeezed Lemonade. My sub was toasted, but you can choose to skip the toasted if you like. The bread was so good my son gobbled every piece of it when normally he tosses it aside and just eats the meat. He also ate EVERY French Fry. When Normally he would ask for apples instead of fries at other places. Can’t complain about the food. The Lemonade was a little puck-er-y. Still… I ordered it. LOL The French Fries were less French and more down home… they were so yummy. Reminded me of when I was younger and we would make homemade fries… skin and all. I guess it reminded me of another toasted sub place… only BETTER. The service was far better than any sub shop I have been to in the triangle or in Cali for that matter. Check it out for yourself. In the words of the Former Governor of California… I’ll be back…

To me this is as close as you can get to a great Philly cheese steak. I love that it tastes fresh and is cooked fresh. The fries are outstanding. BTW, I grew up in Philly and there was a place that added pepperoni to their cheesesteaks in the Mayfair neighborhood. So when I go I ask for the cheesesteak with pepperoni and nothing else. It is so good and just thinking about it makes me want one right now!

I asked my little girl if she wanted a sandwich after we left church yesterday afternoon and she said no, she just wanted to go home. I then asked my bride the same question and it seems our little girl was out voted. When we exited the highway at Creedmoor Rd and headed south instead of north, it took a few miles before the little one piped up and said«Hey — this isn’t the way home!» I replied«That’s right, momma and I are hungry and we’re gonna go get a sandwich.» I had already settled on trying out Penn Station East Coast Subs on Creedmoor road — I’d seen it several times during my commute when I used to work down by the RBC center and had never once stopped. I let my little girl order first and she asked if she could build her own sandwich and of course, she did — a child’s «Dagwood» meal with just the fixins she wanted on it. My bride decided on the monthly special and I had a hankerin’ for a Reuben. Our orders were taken with great patience and we checked out, got our drinks and before we knew it, the gentleman who took our orders was bringing them right out to us — completely unexpected. I had expected him to yell out my name and then I’d have to come up to the counter and get the sandwich, but that was not the case here — very personable service. The Reuben was a little too something, maybe too much sauerkraut for my taste, maybe it was too much 1000 Island dressing, I don’t know — that’s not to say it wasn’t tasty, it was very good nonetheless. The fries were also very good, in fact, easily comparable to Five Guys fries. Now I can’t wait to go back and use my coupon for a free 6″ sub(sign up online).
