«Bondi» beat Fred(this time) Cool Smart phone Hanger Dude(aka iBondi) for your Smart phone or he has many other uses, with his hook shaped head and flexible limbs, torso, your imagination, well I won’t say that since I do NOT know you and I better not say any more about the hanger Dude(«Bondi» is his real name)… He can steer your car? or, he thinks he can or would like to(video has him steering or maybe dreaming of steering your Motor Vehicle and waving to the other one hanging from your Dash! This is a Luggage, Travel Gadgets and Gear Store! This place reminds me exactly of their competitors… We were here last week and this place was a Lookalota! Vera Bradley has a Brand new Bag(compared to the old ones)!

This is one of my favorite local businesses in Raleigh. As a frequent traveler, I find all sorts of specialty items at the Globetrotter. I always feel better about patronizing a local shop, plus their customer service has beat the pants off any other big box retailer. As a response to one of the previous commentors about the travel underwear for sale at the store… that underwear is meant to be hand-washed in a pinch. That’s why you can keep reusing it day after day if needed. The fabric dries really quickly. Great when my flights have been cancelled and I’ve been stranded without my bag. A lot of people use it for camping/backpacking. Worth the money!

I got a good deal on a luggage set during a clearance sale here; however, it fell apart in less than a year. I recognize this is no fault of the Globetrotter, but I realize now why it was on sale. They have a good selection of all sorts of travel accessories here, with a travel version of everything you can think of. The layout is pretty cramped though, and I think that the markup is higher than at other travel stores I’ve been to. Not a bad place to go if you’re already shopping in Cameron Village and are walking by.

Ok, I’m still a little taken aback by the underwear that’s sold here. I’m still not quite sure, but I: believe: the underwear is marketing itself as suitable for multi-day use — as in, «Pack only two pairs for two weeks! This special fabric will keep clean!» I’m not sure I buy into that, but I guess some people are! Anyway, the undies are a small(though perhaps important) offering at this store which has everything from luggage to keychains to change purses to passport covers. They’ve got lots of stuff packed in, so it could be your one-stop-shop pre-travel. I liked the packaged travel-sized ‘spa’ stuff; my guy liked the travel toiletry cases(and had perhaps more than just a passing interest in the underwear).
