History

Established in 2004.

In 2003, I began my tea studies and 7 years later continue to study the health benefits of tea. My mentors ranged from a Ceylon Tea Garden Owner and Ambassador in the tea industry to Tea Masters in the USA. Thyme For Tea in Raleigh, NC began with just 22 teas and a leap of faith. Within 3 years, I became the largest loose-​leaf retailer in North Carolina. Now 6 years later and well over 200 loose-​leaf teas the foundation of my business is still the health benefits of drinking tea and we specialize in custom blending. In 2009, I launched Xocai (sho-​sigh) Healthy Chocolate. The enormous health benefits of this amazing #1 Superfood is just one more way that I help my customers lead a healthier life style. Business Owner

Traci’s consultative approach to the wellness benefits of tea creates an increasing trend of repeat and loyal customers. Her extensive study of the tea industry has proven her to be a national authority and highly regarded tea educator, soon to be recognized as a Tea Sommelier. Her ability to mentoron the types of tea, the distinguishing factors, and infusion tea, all balanced with the health benefits make Mrs. Todd a trusted ‘Tea Specialist’. Her passion includes de-​mystifying tea for our culture and personalizing the tea experience with taste and health advantages. Traci has now done the same for dark chocolate with XoÇai, The Healthy Chocolate. Her tagline «Once you go Loose, you’ll never go Bag» illustrates the enthusiasm for an enhanced balance of tea enjoyment and improving quality of life through tea’s natural properties. Traci has a B.A. in Communications from Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, North Carolina. She and her husband are raising two boys in Raleigh, NC.
