Gwen V.

Business Owner

Managing Partner of the firm, Gwen is a 1980 graduation of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her 30 years of experience at Williams Overman Pierce, LLP has included a concentration in construction and nonprofit organizations. With a particular focus on audit, she has extensive knowledge of the Single Audit Act that impacts nonprofit organizations. Gwen is a certified fraud examiner who provides consulting on fraud and forensic accounting matters. Gwen is one of the firm’s major providers of advice and counsel on audit and tax issues impacting the nonprofit industry. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants.
