History
Established in 1998.
Herman Salerno has been making old world style wines since 1988 starting with a Petite Sirah that swept the top awards at the Orange County Fair!
Purchasing the current property in 1998 and beginning with an acre of Petite Sirah, Salerno Winery now has over 65 international awards for wine making including a double gold from Finger Lakes.
Since Ramona gained it’s owned appellation in 2006 and with the passage of the Boutique Winery Ordinance, we now do wine tasting and public wine sales. We are famous for having the most talented wine maker in Southern California and our customers can’t be wrong.
