five guys is great they are my favorite place to get burgers. But the fries there are not so good they are soggy and gross like a duck. but there burgers make up for it. there is always a five guys close to you. that why five guys gets a four star

We were visiting downtown Charleston SC and we happen to see the«Five Guys«hamburger place, been tired and angry we decide to eat there. The best hamburger we ever had and the place was spotless and the people behind the counter treat everything with great great cleanliness. Therefore when we saw the same place yesterday, we decide to go in again expecting the same experience . Well what a disappointment !!! The place was dirty, the hamburger even worse and the people behind the counter very indifferent. The store is located in the beautiful area of The City Place and it is a disgrace to not keep it spotless and not serving the same hamburger quality that I still remember from Charleston SC.

Quick and tasty! Peanuts, burgers, fries, sodas… pretty standard five guys store. Nothing terrible, nothing over the top.

Best burgers around by far! Service is always amazing here. They have those touch screen drink machines that have lots of cool flavors. Also always order the«small frys» as they give you a ton, and there excellent fries

I am compelled to write this review because of the total lack of concern for anything from the manager. When we were about to place our order another patron who had already placed his order needed to have something corrected and was told he would have to wait until he took our order which had not even begun. In the mean time the cashier informed the manager(Rich) that they were out of ketchup, Rich replied tell them to use packets and made no attempt to address the empty ketchup dispensers the entire time we were there. My wife and I ordered and waited and when our number was called my wife picked up the food to find her burger had raw onion as opposed to sautéed and the burger was looking malnourished like it was squished thin and parts had fallen off. She went to bring it back to have it corrected and was told it was off the line therefore too late. What? I found the manager and he offered some sauteed onions and said the burger was fine. I said never mind. I opened my bacon cheeseburger to find the pickles I asked for were not there nor was the bacon. I informed Rich the manager and his response was what do you want, new burgers. I told him to forget it and I’m sure he did as he had nothing more to say. I have eaten here many times and had great experiences. Rich should not be a manager. I wouldn’t even let him mop the floors.

Awesome… Great burgers and fries. Service is friendly and prompt. I wish other restaurants in Bergen County, NJ were half this good…

I’m not a fan of fast food, but I have to admit… these are some good and fresh tasting burgers and fries. Quick service and ample seating. PEANUTALLERGYWARNING! My son with severe peanut allergy wouldn’t last 5 seconds in this place. They cook with peanut oil, plus they serve free peanuts in the shell where customers can help themselves and throw the shells all over.

I like this place. I’ve gone a couple times and never had an issue. They have more simple burgers than Smash Burger. I just like a normal burger. Their ‘normal’ is a double though, so I learned the hard way the first time and now I order the Jr. I only get the burgers, never fries or anything.

I went to the Ramsey location for the first time tonight(10÷18÷14). The place was crowded and I ended up waiting 25 minutes for my order. That’s not what upset me. What got me upset was, while I was waiting patiently, I hear one of the guys cooking the burgers etc… say ‘We need more bacon’. With that, I see the person who is preparing my burger put«bacon crumbs» on my burger. It didn’t even equate to a half slice of bacon??? Not for nothing but the burgers aren’t THAT Cheap!!! I was not rushing them and I am fuming that they did what they did. I paid extra for something(bacon) I didn’t really get. I will NOT be going back to that location ever again.

Service is friendly and allows you to slowly select your toppings. Good value for the price and one of few places that offera realnfrench fries unlike all places offering shoe string fries or skinny fries. The thin fries should be over and done with, back to thicker fries. Love this location because of the Coke machines that lets you combine different drinks. Burgers made fresh while youbwait instead of being pre-made sitting under a heat lamp. Another plus is that you can have peanuts while you wait for your order. Their burgers does give others a run for the money and their fries are hands down better than those nearby.

I enjoy Five Guys, I’m pretty disappointed in another major burger place in our area that rimes with dash. This place is a bit easier to get to for me than the one in Nanuet, I also decided to do the online ordering. Ordering online was quick and painless, and you can customize to your liking. I walked in to their pickup area and the order was done. The one thing they wait to do is the fries and I’m ok with that. Pleasant experience, quick, painless and easy. What more could you want?

I’m not a huge fan of Five Guys Burgers but I am a fan of this location. My friends and I stopped by this place on the way up north for a quick bite to eat. The guy who took our orders at the counter was super friendly, super loud. He kind of reminded me of the guys who sell you beer and snacks at a ballgame. Ordered and waited about 5 minutes for the order to be completed. As typical with other Five Guys locations, they give you a large helping of fries and your burger is super greasy. I think that’s my problem with Five Guys — too greasy. It might be good once in a while, but I feel like it’s a bit excessive in terms of the grease that oozes out of that burger. I’m sure the fries aren’t much better, but they were pretty tasty. Overall, the food is typical of Five Guys and this location executes their taste and quality pretty well.

Typical five guys cuisine. The burgers are pretty good and the toppings are great. I just wished that five guys in general cooked their meat medium instead of WD. Get the Cajun fries, those are worth coming for alone!

They’re barely open 3 weeks so I realize they still are working out the kinks. Service was great, friendly, efficient, and quick. We love Five Guys and couldn’t wait till this location opened. Unfortunately we were dissapointed. Food needs work. Burgers were small. I got a little cheeseburger and the burger barely filled 1⁄3rd of the bun. The fries were raw and over salted. We have eaten at several five guys and the burger fills the bun. I asked if they came in pre– made and was told that they get fresh chopped meat everyday and they form there own patties. They need to make sure that they are consistent with corporate standards. I’ll give this location another try in a few months once they get their act together.

This review was originally under another Five Guys in Ramsey that doesn’t show up when you search for it. So I’m re-posting. From 9÷26÷2012 The store opened last week, and I was excited to try it. I used to go to the store in Parsippany on Rt 46 before SmashBurger took over. The space is smaller than the other locations I’ve visited. The cashiers were knowledgeable and quick. I ordered a small burger with mayo, lettuce, tomato, extra pickle and ketchup plus fries. Then we went around the corner to pick up our food. We had a great view of the kitchen so it was interesting to watch everything being made. The wait was about 5 minutes since we got there before the lunch rush. We took our order home, and the burger was fantastic. I requested extra pickles, and they got it exactly right. The fries were a huge disappointment, though. Of course, there were about 5 lbs of them, but they were cooked terribly. Some were barely cooked, and others burned, yet they were ALL soggy. I’ve never seen or tasted anything like it. I started sampling the fries as soon as I got my order so it wasn’t a matter of them getting cold. I appreciate that we get a ton of fries, but if they’re terrible, it just makes a bad impression. I hope this is just growing pains, and I will definitely go back to eat in and see if there’s a difference. I’m happy to see them because the local SmashBurger has terrible management and lines.

Good burger with plenty of toppings to choose from. Excellent fries, reminds me of the boardwalk fries down in Ocean City MD(just add vinegar)
