I contacted the dealership via email and made an appointment to come in and see a car. Before coming in I confirmed with the sales rep that the car was in stock and he assured me it was, however, when I got there, the car was not in stock. Then, after «speaking with the manager», they told me they don’t normally do this, but could get me the car in two days… like they are doing ME a favor. They were just wasting my time. The next day I went to another dealer who had the car in stock.
I bought my previous car from this dealership and was not impressed then either. I was ignored when I walked and when I did find a sales rep, I had to pull the information out of him, he volunteered nothing about the car. Before purchasing the car, my calls were returned promptly, but as soon as the papers were signed, my calls were ignored.
I am willing to drive as far as I need to for a respectful dealership.
Customers just want common courtesy… no BS games.

It was my first time buying a new car and I was extremely nervous about the process. However, Nick Kobryn made it extremely pleasant! He was very courteous and knowledgeable about all of the car features. He politely answered all questions and was never pushy. Love my car and had a great experience. Would definitely recommend! Go see Nick!

I have never experienced anything worse than Joe Heidt VW in my entire life. Please stay far away from this unexperienced, unprofessional, and corrupt dealership. They completed screwed me over on a 2010 GTI, high price, BS warranty, car fell apart and they did not properly fix anything under the 100K mile warranty. More recently, they called ME and tried to make me a trade in deal on a new Jetta. The deal seemed good until I went to sign final papers and pickup the car. They tried to fu*ck me over with fees and bs about how the payments went up. After they stated they payments are going to go up. They said my credit is not working for the deal. I could go finance a Lamborghini, so the only reasonable conclusion is that Joe Heidit decided they do not want the shit GTI they originally sold me. I imagine they screw a lot of uninformed consumers. I want to change that. Please seek other VW dealers. AGAIN, DO NOT GO HERE… Go to Jack Daniels VW, much more professional.

My wife and I had an excellent experience here. We actually ended up buying two cars from them. Alfredo and Mike made the experience painless compared to other dealers in the area. I will definitely recommend them to friends and family.

This is the worst car dealership I have ever seen. Lack of social skills, horrible customer service, rude attitudes, combined with no knowledge of their vehicles made for the worst experience. David the sales associate has to be the worst of all time with his bad attitude and rude behavior. The «manager» Robert, was no better. Both of these idiots combined are sure to put a dent in the image and sales of this dealership. The only question I had left after walking out of this place was, who the eff hired these guys? Horrible decision. Place is stuck in the 1960s and please do yourself a favor and AVOID… Especially David and Robert. Negative stars if possible.

No star. Do not go to this place! This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. David and Robert really need to learn some people skills. Who hired these two obviously has no interest in being a good business. We went to look at a Jetta and were barely greeted. Then when Dave asked us what we r looking to pay we showed the online average rate and he called it all BS. that its not realistic and went to talk to manager Robert who I thought maybe more educated and can talk to us. But to my surprise again he was horrible too lol. I’m stunned at the lack of knowledge respect these people have. I went here to support local businesses but the lack of motivation these guys had was kind of disgusting. So many people out there looking for jobs can do a better job than these guys. Pathetic.

I just returned from the most pleasant car leasing experience I could have imagined. Nick Kobryn was fantastic to work with — professional and on top of everything. My husband and I left Joe Heidt VW with a great new car at a terrific price. We’ll be definitely be back and referring friends in the meantime.

I recently went to Joe Heidt Volkswagen to look at a Tiguan. The salesman who greeted us, Jose, took us to the lot to show us the vehicle. My father who was with me (who is the one looking to buy the vehicle) was looking at the car and checking out the different trims and models. Very rudely Jose said multiple times «if you don’t like it then there’s no point in going on a test drive» while that may be true we never indicated that we didn’t like the car and were very interested in test driving it. He said the same thing once more as we were trying to just absorb the little information Jose gave us about the car. This made me and my father feel awkward and uncomfortable. Perhaps he was having a bad day and wasn’t up for going for a test drive but he certainly lost our business.

Bought a Volkswagen here a couple years ago. Sales department is flakey to begin with.
Service, dont even get me started.
First of all, ridiculous rates. On top of this they have their point to point inspection which is a *****ing joke. I have never seen something so unprofessional and overpriced in my life.
Finally, dont expect them to call you when you have recalls or extensions on anything. The service department will only call you to wish you a happy birthday and remind you to come in and get your vehicle serviced by them. Its a load of crap. If you can go to any other dealership in the area I would highly recommend it instead of going to JH Motors.

I take my car here for over 6 months. and in my case I take it often because I have to change the oil every 5000 miles. So most of my experiences are based on regular stuff and I must say that they are very professional, I always wait at the service, they have a nice waiting area with wireless and I can work while waiting :) Yesterday my engine check light came on, they did all the tests and did not hurry, there was no problem with my car. a sensor just went crazy for nothing. because I regularly take the car there the evaluation fee of 110 $ was complementary… so only nice things about their service :) they will see me back soon at my next oil change :)

Had a problem with sales and service. They mis diagnosed my car (I told them the problem but was ignored) I ended up with a broken timing chain1 month after service, engine ruined. No help from vw usa. The car was 1k miles out of warranty!

I didn’t buy my VW here but have it serviced here since purchasing the CC. Very easy to get an appointment, Chrys and the other service advisors deliver as promised. Service is great, always informative and will do everyrhing to meet your expectations. Just brought in my car for 40,000 mile service, in by 8:00 and car was ready at noon. Pick up was as easy as dropping off, everyone there pitches in to help. I do enjoy doing business with this dealership and will continue to do so in the future. I will also seriously consider purcahsing my next car here when it is time. Volkswagen rules!

My family and I have purchased 8 cars from Joe Heidt over the past few years. As a family of car enthusiasts, we look for product specialists. Working with Michael DeNardo (finance manager), Scott Bisig (sales manager), and Patrick Sorey (Sales Consultant), we were consistently wowed by their product knowledge, professionalism, and efforts to win and retain our business. From sale to service, they have always been by our side. We always check their prices against their competitors and Joe Heidt consistently beats the competition’s prices. It is very clear that they will do anything to earn and keep your business.
The process is also always consistently smooth. Patrick patiently accompanies me on test drives (and I needed quite a few before making up my mind), Scott provides excellent pricing very quickly without the typical drawn out process at every other dealership I have ever visited, and Michael wraps up the financial paperwork in under 20 minutes.
I highly recommend Joe Heidt and will continue referring friends, as everyone I know has walked away happy.

I give the service department 5 stars. When I call i will only ask for Chris there when I need to make an apointment or if I need something looked at. He explains things and when I do call he remembers me and my car. I bought my car there in 2007 and there always seems to be one person in the service department that knows what they are talking about.

I will never go to this dealership again. They are basic scam artists. I purchased a CERTIFIED PRE-​OWNED car from them August of 2011. The sales person Patrick was trying to pick me up the whole time during the sale. He even got my number off the sales paperwork. He made several inappropriate comments when test driving the car (such as you will receive more presents from me…). I just ignored it.
In September 2011, a full month later the check engine light came on in the car. I was kind of upset that the light came on a month after I purchased the car. I brought it to their shop. They explained to me that one of the fuel injectors was bad (I am not sure if both were bad but I know at least one was) and that there was carbon build up in the manifold. I became very angry at this and let them know that I had just purchased the car and why was this a problem already. They gave me the basic run around story (Chris was the service person). The salesman, whom I was trying to avoid in the waiting room, came over and said «well, think of it this way, you are getting new parts in an old car and it is under warranty). I was skeptical but liked the car so I went with it. I did not have other problems with the car except for one. There was a constant buzzing sound that was very loud when the car was warming up. This the service tech and the salesman informed me was the fuel pump and was normal. When I test drove the car of course they had it already running. It also turned out that the previous owner was a friend of the salesman (sketchy???).
Now, this past weekend I went to Vermont to visit my boyfriend on work. As I was driving there the check engine light came on. I was only about 45 minutes away and it was around 10pm at this time. I decided in the morning I would bring it to a local VW dealer since I had the warranty. I dropped the car off and they told me that the fuel injector (s) were bad and the a lot of carbon built up in the manifold. I asked them to check my previous history because this sounded vaguely familiar. Well it turns out that it was the same exact problem that I had a year ago! I became infuriated and called VW corporate. I let them know that I am not paying for the repairs and that this calls for a void in my contract. That the car was a certified car based on VW standards and how could a car that went through a «rigorous 112 point inspection» have a major flaw a month after purchase and then again a year later? I am still currently working with them to solve this outcome. The dealership (South Burlington) was excellent and fixed the problem.
When I called and spoke to the manager he preceded to tell me that the car had no signs of problems when it was with him and regularly went to be serviced there. I told him I didn’t care. He then asked for me to bring it to him unfixed (drive 350 miles with the problem) and have him fix it. This was not happening. I informed him I was done and that I would never purchase a car from him again and let other know also. He then asked if he could sell me a car??? I told him he was crazy, I already purchased a lemon form him once. The manager was James Walker.
This place is the most sketchy dealership I have ever seen.

This is for the dealership rating and I am ever so glad to have never used their car service. I chose the Jack Daniels in Fair Lawn. My personal experience was very poor. Paid in cash, expected change and never received. I love VW, but not this dealership and I made sure VW corporate offices heard my complaint.

Whatever you do, do NOT give this dealer your phone number. They will spam you with recorded messages every couple of months. I just got this gem today:

Thanks «James,» but I don’t appreciate a robot telling me to spend $ 100+ per hour on your overpriced labor. This kind of invasive marketing guarantees 100% that will never return to your facility.
