Robert is great. He has old school values in that personal integrity means something and the quality of his work matters to him just as much to you. Robert and his shop are real gems.

I was on 65^th street waiting at a stoplight when a truck with Robert and another employee wedged the front end of his company truck right in front of me. I was stuck and couldn’t move my car. The passenger looked at me and laughed. When the light turned green, they pulled in front of me and proceeded to pull into the Starbucks on Broadway. Since Robert is clearly a unsafe & bully driver, I remembered the number on the truck and called to report to the owner that he had a reckless driver driving his company truck. This guy tried to pretend he wasn’t driving and lied, stating he was from the office (owner). I told him that I just saw him answering the phone and he quickly hung up on me. This guy is a joke. He drives recklessly, is a bully and acts extremely unethical. There are better companies with nice, honest people so please don’t give your business to a jerk like this. Next is BBB, I can prove my story. Avoid!

I have used Robert’s shop twice this year and both experiences have been so above and beyond my expectations. Robert made the experience so painless working with my insurance company and the rental car company, I hardly had to do anything. The work was impeccable and finished within the promised timelines, what more could you want? Robert is always available and will keep you posted via text about your cars progress and any other information you may need. I will be using Robert for all of my body repair needs in the future and will refer all my friends and family to Robert.

I would strongly recommend this paint shop. Guys are doing really good job! I’m really glad that I came here with my Honda:) Robert and his team are awesome!:)

Robert is absolutely amazing to work with! The communication was stellar. He fixed our truck after an accident, and it looks like it never happened. Good, honest and affordable body work is hard to find these days yet we found all of those attributes at Body Mechanics. Thank you Robert!

Unfortunately, I have had to use Robert and his crew at Body Mechanics twice in the last month due to two different incidents caused by other people. But FORTUNATELY I found this fantastic shop that met all of my expectations and MORE!
The first incident was an off brand insurance company (cheap insurance was their motto when I googled their name… Great!) The adjuster that I was dealing with wouldn’t call me back even if I threatened to take her first born. But really. She was awful! Luckily, once I got my car in the shop Robbie handled the rest. I didn’t have to call her again! She told me upon initial contact that I had to pay for the rental car since they had no agreements with any companies because they were so small (and cheap!). Since she never would answer her phone or call me back I was worried about the reimbursement. Robbie told me to fax him my receipt and he would handle it… A few days later I got a reimbursement check in the mail! Thank you, Robert! Upon pick up my car was spotlessly detailed-that’s worth $ 60 in itself! A nice little perk to come back to a clean car. I was very satisfied after my first visit.
The second incident was a Farmers insured that backed into my parked car shortly (like a few days) after I got my car back from Body Mechanics. I was happy to hear that it was a major company that I was dealing with. Although, I must say that Robert made it so easy on the first transaction that there wasn’t much of a difference (aside from rental coverage). I was in constant communication with Robert and his team throughout the process; estimates were accurate, progress was quick, and communication was prompt. When I picked up my car it was rainy and Robert had stayed after hours to wait for me to get off work. Now that is above and beyond! I couldn’t see the work since it was rainy but the next day I realized that he had actually taken the time to repair the small unrelated rock chips that were on my hood! He also buffed out a scuff on my drivers side door because he thought I would appreciate it. Where do you find this kind of genuine work?!
I will refer all if my friends and family to the shop and he has a loyal customer in me.

I chose this shop for repair of my car because of the 5-​star reviews I found on Unilocal.and the experience matched my expectations.
Robert examined the damage to my vehicle, gave me a fair bid for the work, and explained the process step by step. I especially liked having him show me how they pulled out the dented section. They did the work on time and completely to my satisfaction. Everyone in the shop was friendly and responsive.
I would use them in the future and highly recommend them to other Unilocal users.

I got in a nasty accident that I thought would end my car and this place brought it back to life. They were very patient with me and the insurance company and dealt with them directly when they accepted liability for the damage. Every time I called I got a pleasant and honest update on my car. When I got my car back it looked better than it did before the accident. My car was cleaner than ever and completely fixed up with the right colored parts. Robert is an honest man and easy to work with. I will definitely be going here for any future repairs.

Came to get the driver car door fixed and repainted. Robert was professional and did a fantastic job and we got the car back on time. The car looks just like brand new. Will definitively come back again for future repairs

I had a sideswipe accident to the left side of my 1992 truck. I had no collision insurance so I was dreading the cost. Lost the directional light at the front of my truck, the cover over the tail light, and the side view mirror. The door was dented in a way that I could barely open it and the entire length of the left side was dented with the paint scraped off and bare metal showing.
Drove the truck to them on a Monday afternoon and Robert looked at the damage. After that he got on the phone, spoke with a parts supplier and gave me a very fair price quote (under $ 500 to fix everything). Brought it back the next morning at 8:00 am and when I returned at 5:00 pm I was amazed. Not only were all the broken parts replaced and fully functional, they had hammered out the dents and painted it over so that it looked BETTER than before the accident. AND, on top of that, the right side of my truck also had scrapes from a previous accident and, even though we never discussed it, they had painted that side over as well!
Honest, fair, conscientious and excellent customer service. If the body of your car ever needs repair after an accident go see these folks. They are the real deal.

These guys know how to repair a vehicle. I was and continue to be very impressed with how Robert handles customer service. My wife’s car looks awesome and I cannot see where it was repaired. Thanks guys.
