Danny’s Automotive is a family business that is locally owned and operated.

We are excited to open our doors at our new location on Folsom Blvd and continue to serve our local community. Danny’s Automotive was originally established at our previous location on 2830 Bravado Dr., ste F., also in Rancho Cordova. As of September, 2014 Danny’s Automotive has moved to 10 265 Folsom Blvd, Rancho Cordova, CA 95 670.

At a young age Danny found his passion for cars and its complex yet magnificent way they work, having a big dream of one day owning his own automotive shop. Throughout his career as an automotive technician he has established an extensive backround in the automotive field and is recognized by many in the Sacramento community as an outstanding Auto Technician. Now, Danny and his wife are proud owners of Danny’s Automotive shop in Rancho Cordova, California, serving their local community in which they live and love.

Took in my 1999 Toyota Avalon to Danny because the check engine light had been on for 2 years and the smog was due so I had to get it fixed. Danny diagnosed under the quotes price because it only took him a few minutes and I ordered the part (charcoal canister which goes bad on these cars a lot) and had it installed today. I’ll be taking it for a smog today or tomorrow. They are fast, honest and reliable and front desk has excellent customer service! :)

Still think this is a great shop… but an online problem exists that has still not been fixed. If you google search or map search, etc… and click on ANY link to get to Danny’s Automotive website in Rancho Cordova… you are taken to Danny’s Automotive in South Carolina. SAD…
and not good. Hope they fix it soon. I’ve contacted South Carolina ½ dozen times now in error.

I had to find a new mechanic after my other one closed up shop and Danny’s did not disappoint. I popped in for an oil change, which was quick, no wait and only $ 30, for my Fusion. I suspect my Mustang might be pricier because it requires synthetic oil… But anyway, they didn’t try to upsell me anything or find things to fix, so that’s a major plus when we’re talking about mechanics. I will definitely come back for all repair and maintenance needs for both of my cars.

I had to get my air conditioner repaired here, as well as other repairs in the past. They tell you thoroughly what is going on and they are overall helpful. The repairs I had done took about 2 – 3 hours and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

The check engine light was on and Danny’s took care of it with very little wait. Although I didn’t have an appointment, they were able to figure out what was wrong and fix it in about 2 – 3 hours. The prices were reasonable, and their customer service is amazing! The lady who works at the desk, is very pleasant and she explains what the recommendations are and the associated cost. For someone who knows nothing about cars, I did not feel taken advantage of or that unnecessary tests were recommended. I would not hesitate to recommend Danny’s to my friends!

I took my car into Danny’s Automotive randomly yesterday because I had a brake light out. They looked fairly busy but I’ll pulled in sheepishly asking if they would be able to help me. Fully expecting an eye roll, I received quite the opposite. I was told I could wait in the waiting room. After 10 minutes, the mechanic came in and said «I think we’re all set». Thrilled that the pesky issue had been repaired so quickly, I pulled out my wallet at which time he repeated «I think we’re all set here» and followed with «this one’s on us». WHAT??? Such a great feeling to be the recipient of a random act of kindness! Truly made my day! And such a smart business move. I may not have had to pay for the light bulb replacement but I have found a new shop that I will use for all of my future auto repairs. Thank you!

Have only positive feedback for Danny, his employees, and his auto repair business. Diagnostic and repair is always correct, done in a timely manner. It’s clean, great customer service, good prices, and very responsible and honest. My husband, Michael F. and I have been going here since shortly after his opening and have never been disappointed. We highly recommend Danny’s Automotive. We are really grateful to have an auto repair service we can trust.

I have been to danny’s automotive on two occasions now once for my car and again for my girlfriends. I have nothing but praises for them as they have excellent customer service and communication. They always let me know whats going on every step of the way and provided me with multiple options. Service was also very fast on both occasions. When i brought my car there to fix the A/​C i was highly impressed when they stayed late past their posted closing time to get me my car back the same day even though i dropped it off in the afternoon! Also from what i can tell from what friends have paid for similar repairs they are competativly priced. You might be able to find a better deal somewhere else but i wont even bother because the level of service is outstanding. As long as i live in this area i will always take my cars to them.

My work truck was making a squeaking noise every time I applied the brakes at low speeds. I thought it must have been the brake pads or something. My friend Dan suggested I take it to Danny’s. I sent my employee down to get the brakes fixed and Danny informed me that the brakes were at 90% and I didn’t need to replace them, instead he just needed to spray something on the pads and the squeaking stopped. I admit that I know very little about cars and trucks, I was prepared to spend the money and Danny could have made the sale and I wouldn’t have even questioned it, instead he showed integrity and told me the truth. After all that I offered to pay for a diagnostic or something just for looking at it and applying the spray but he said not to worry about it. I will bring all of vehicles here, and will recommend his shop to everyone I know.

I had to wait to see the result of the work to post. Why? The service was so much faster than I could have imagined. The service has proved to be excellent. My leek was fixed with a new part in record time. Customer service was very pleasant and a joy to chat with. Communication regarding other things with my car was amazing, my hearing coil is out and I was told to find it online because the price difference was worth it. He said he could even help and when I’m ready to get it fixed we can work something out.
I went here because Unilocal reviews made it an obvious choice, most certainly lived up to the expectations, coming back.

I am usually very skeptical of auto repair shops and I admit I may not know everything about cars but I have had plenty of exposure as many friends and family have been mechanics. One thing I cannot tolerate is being lied to or treated like stupid female. That being said, I did my homework on Danny’s — no complaints filed with the BBB — Yah! and minimal complaints on Unilocal.
Have to say THEY WERE GREAT. My car ended up having to be jumped the morning of my appointment so I was late but they diagnosed it, replaced the battery and figured out why it was not getting consistent heat. All this and an oil change for a lot less than I had expected it to be. They also had a transport vehicle so I did not have to worry about how to get to/​from work. Guess I can’t say enough about Danny’s automotive. You have a customer for life now, thanks for being upfront and treating me fairly.

I went into Danny’s today and when I came in they told me if they couldn’t find the problem they wouldn’t charge. Up returning they told me that they didn’t know what was wrong. And that I had to pay them. I refused and started telling other customers about my experience. They told me there manager was out and I had to wait for him to return. I told them I was going to tell every one who walked through their door about my experience. They made a call and told me the keys were in the truck and to leave. Pretty bad I had to twist there arm to get them to honor our agreement. I wouldn’t recommend this mechanic to anyone. They will tell you whatever you want to get your keys. Change the story and refuse to honor there agreement. It’s to bad too, I though Juliette was a complete doll. I felt bad because I know it wasn’t her fault. She was following orders. She was really sweet.

I highly recommend Danny’s automotive. You could tell Danny was very busy however it did not reflect his ability to take the time in going over every detail of the car.
My girlfriend and I had been searching for a second car for several months. We took a car there for inspection prior to purchase. Danny was very patient and helpful in not only explaining issues with the vehicle but giving an estimate on cost for repairs. Luckily we brought it there because it turned out the owner had cut out the entire emergency brake.

This shop gets great Unilocal reviews for a reason. The service is fantastic, and Danny is always straight up and honest with you. The parking lot is a little small so it’s kinda confusing on where to park when you pull in. Other then that I have had an amazing experience here. I highly recommend.
