Wow, people are so critical … This is a café tucked in a office block building — so I think if you adjust your expectations, it serves it’s purpose. I wouldn’t drive out of my way to come here. But it filled me for a lunch I needed. I ordered ’ today’s special ’ — a bowl of soup(choose either minestrone or chilling) + half a quesadilla. For $ 4.75+ tax, I feel it’s not bad for homemade soup and cook to order hot food. I can’t think of a better option for this money other than fast food. The only one that may beat it is Mexican taquerias, most of which offers you complimentary unlimited chips and side dippings … The chili I ordered was so– so. A bit too salty for me. The service is pretty fast — it’s Franco and his wife, feels like a small cosy place when you walk in. I was in just before the lunch crowd arrives. Soon, there is a line of people waiting for take-out. I believe it’s a place where folks who work around here frequent for convenience. They have a decent selection and the combo meal comes with sides, looks like good size portions. Looks like burgers are popular here. * the menu in the photo here is old– prices are slightly higher.

This small eatery epitomizes the phrase«you get what you pay for.» The prices are low — get the picture? The location is pretty convenient, right in the business park area off Data Drive. Franco himself(I guess that’s his name) runs the kitchen while his staffers tend to the register and clean the tiny place. It seems that the food never comes out in order — I was served after two other patrons who came in behind me. The menu is diverse, the portions are pretty big but the food never seems fresh. The first time I ordered a breakfast burrito the sausage was cold, the potatoes were undercooked and the eggs looked brown. It literally tasted like dirt. I gave the place one more chance this morning but had the same result. I am basing my review on the breakfast experience only. I’ve not had lunch there yet.

This place is amazing hiding between all the office buildings. They have great breakfast at reasonable price and the food is amazing! It’s a must go place!

I ordered the Spicy chicken sandwich. It’s basically a frozen patty. Garbage.

Wonderful place, great food, great prices, great people! I positively love Franco’s Friday $ 1 specials, especially his incredible pork burrito which is to die for! Another one of my favorites which was a big surprise to me is their Ruben which is as good as any New York Deli’s! I have tried their wraps, their Mexican offerings like their burritos and tacos, they are wonderful! They can get busy for the two people working their but they do their very best to get your food out as fast as possible! GREATJOB!

I been going there with my hubby for lunch they have good portions but the hamburgers are to dry and there is no flavor on the meat, I went today 8÷29÷14 and I order chilly cheese fries and there chilly cheese fries are regular over cool fries with regular Mexican Beans over the fries and some cheese, I know what chilly cheese fries looks like and that is not even close to that, I try to give them another change and still food not that great few months ago I try his wanna be Mexican Chile Verde and it was awful chile verde is Green not red and with pork and nasty beans and rice I’m Latino I know what Chile Verde looks like and I know how to make it the right way. I don’t think I will go back there with hubby I rather go to MacDonald’s or Burger King. How he still on business with awful food. Hope he does better and the workers needs more professional manners and be more accurate on orders.

This place is a joke. They don’t even make the food in the order they took. Frequently get surpassed by locals who eat there every day. Food is OK, that’s why it gets 3 stars. Be prepared to wait and witness the chef and the cashier get into yelling arguments like an old married couple.

I work a just few blocks away from Franco’s Café. I come here from time to time just for their super breakfast burrito. They make it pretty quick. It’s decently priced for a big portion that I normally could only eat half of before going into a food coma. This place blends in well with all the other office buildings around it. It was definitely this over the Mcdonald’s that is down the street.

Franco’s is a great lunch spot. I’ve been coming here for about 2 ½ years at least two times a week so I’ve pretty much had everything. The blt, pastrami, turkey burger, fries, chicken quesidilla, enchilada special etc etc are all good. You get a lot of food for a very reasonable price. Owner is a very nice guy and will fix it just how you want it. Nice outdoor patio too.

After a few years of working right around the corner I decided to hit this place for lunch. The food was a’ight! Nothing great but I have high aspirations for this little café. I ordered the chile verde which was their lunch special. It was café style mexican… my wife had the cobb salad which was run of the mill. I did however see that they have a reasonably good sized breakfast menu. I’m thinking this may be a good spot to get my breakfast burrito fix the next time I’m due. Yo man O!

I work in the same business as Francos and go there frequently for lunch. The menu is huge. I’m a fan of the home made soup and the daily specials. Garlic fries and super nachos are big favorites in my office. Seating is available inside and on the patio. Breakfast s a great bargain and the lunch specials are a great deal too. I recommend this place for a quick lunch in Rancho. Way better than your average fast food.

Franco’s is a hidden gem amongst all the office buildings. I go there from time to time for lunch. Franco’s has a very large menu for a small place. There are also daily specials, and the servings are more than enough. The staff is very friendly and go out of their way to make sure that you are happy when you leave. Great business. Go try it out!

It’s an out of the way small placed tucked into a business area. I frequently get breakfast here on the way to work. Great prices, fast and a great breakfast meal. As noted, breakfast can be huge!!! Franco the owner is the cook and very accommodating. If you want something special and he can do it, he will. Franco’s also has some great $ 2.75 breakfast specials. It’s nearby the McD’s on Zinfandel drive and much better quality food. My most food picky friends give this place a thumbs up! Definitely worth a visit!

My co workers and i eat at Franco’s several times a week .I usually get the Super Breakfast Burrito w/Bacon and it is super. Its huge, only costs $ 6 bucks and i have to split it ! If i have just HALF the burrito around 9 or 10 i dont end up eating again until around 3 ! The rest of the food is great and the staff including Franco himself(always behind the grill) is very nice. Franco’s is located in the business park near my work in Rancho so it tends to not get to busy which is nice because they are generally pretty speedy with your order. If you are in need of great food and friendly service at great prices, Franco’s will not disappoint !

I love Franco’s Café. It can get pricy to eat here everyday, but I will get addicted for weeks at a time, ween myself off, just to get addicted again =D I love philli cheese steak(Plus soda=about 8.60 with tax), all of the turkey sandwiches, the burgers, and the fries! You get a choice of fries, potato salad, or green salad for your side. I haven’t had his grilled chicken sandwiches yet. I got a chicken sandwhich once thinking it was grilled. It was a crispy chicken patty with a bunch of ranch, not my thing. That is the only thing on the menu so far that I have not liked. Too much going on in that sandwich for my taste. I love«Franco’s hot sauce» located by the drink station. I dip my fries in that and then in ketchup YUM! If you ever need a quick tasty lunch, I suggest you give Franco a try! He is the one that actually cooks things up, and has a nice young lady as his helper taking orders. Very small, but nice. I pay about 8 something every time I go.

Franco’s Café is tucked away in a Rancho Cordova business park. There are umbrellas outside making it easier to spot. Today, I visited Franco’s with my boyfriend and we had a coupon from the Entertainment Book for buy one menu item, get one free. We ordered a turkey and bacon melt and a cheesesteak sandwich combo with fries. I liked the turkey and bacon melt… it was perfectly grilled and filled with thin sliced turkey, lots of bacon, and American cheese. I didn’t enjoy the cheesesteak as much and wouldn’t order it again. The roll was good — soft and squishy, but the meat and veggies just didn’t mesh well together. The fries are crinkle cut and came out hot and fresh. Overall, this place is good for a quick, inexpensive(especially with a coupon) lunch. The women at the counter was nice and helpful and even remembered that my boyfriend had been there once before — even though it was just for a coffee. Franco’s is a good choice for lunch out in Rancho Cordova.
